Fish Lads

Excellent fishmonger in the Downtown Market. We tried the fish and chips, lobster roll and cioppino. The soup had great flavor. The lobster rolls were served cold, great flavor though and plenty of lobster. All were delicious and very fresh! Really love this location and all that it has to offer. The Downtown Market is a real foodie destination in the Grand Rapids area. The gentleman waiting on us was very patient while we asked questions. The menu had a great selection. Would definitely purchase fish to bring home from here.

Ah, if you are in the vicinity of the DOWNTOWN MARKET, you NEED to stop in to this place. If your thing is fish, this place will not disappoint. We were pleasantly greeting by the sales associate who offered us a sampling of the smoked salmon. AH, there was no second guessing where to eat! Sections are a bit pricey but you get what you pay for here. WELL worth it! ENJOY!

Good food at this place. I do wish the prices were a bit lower and I would go more often if they were. I really don't like ordering seafood at a restaurant because more often than not they mess it up. This place has never disappointed me. Like I said though I usually get something on the lower end and pair it with a burger from the place next to it.

Omg best seafood I've ever had in Michigan. The fresh market catch feel and taste of all their items are amazing. We had literally the best Maine Lobster roll ever! Blackened Salmon and Panko white fish sandwiches. Fries were great and even sauces were scratch made and delicious.

I've walked past this place everytime I've visited the Downtown Market and never have actually ordered and eaten here. I can't believe I've waited this long! Had fish and chips and fish tacos. Fresh ingredients, attentive and friendly staff. A bit expensive, but you get what you pay for.

The halibut fish is highly recommended. The fries could have been cooked a couple minutes longer but they were still good. The staff was friendly and very informative. We also brought home smoked salmon and salmon jerky! Can't wait to head back for more.

Awesome grill fish! Clean, fast and nice service. The food is definitely so great , just loved the place. We went for lunchtime. Will repeat next time go back to Grand Rapids.

Beautiful selection of seafoods. Everything looks great. Salmon fillets are massive and the color is fantastic. Halibut, Swordfish are looking great. We landed a nice Cod fillet that is going to be butter braised this weekend... Yum!
