Fish Bones Restaurant and Seafood Buffet

I always love it here. We were craving seafood and usually come here for the seafood buffet but it isn't offered during off season. We ordered the Norfolk Special which still hit the spot.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would do so. We stopped in on a recommendation, as it was "the best place to eat" or so we were told. To say that we were disappointed was an understatement. For the price that is charged for the buffet, you would expect the food to be fresh and decent. It was not. The food was overcooked, some of it was rather chewy, the salad bar was a major disappointment, and they couldn't make an alcoholic beverage properly. The best thing on the buffet was the cookies, or at least they were edible according to the kids. I would not recommend this place to anyone. We dropped over 150.00, and we left hungry and unsatisfied. If you are in town for a visit, skip over this place and find something else.

Food made us sick and crab cakes had shells in them.
