It’s great to have another poke spot in the area! Beautiful airy interior from first time owner Brian. Fish itself was very good. Right now, it’s really just one default bowl with one sauce and the option to omit ingredients. While that makes the decision easy, to really compete with nearby poke spots like Poke-Poke and Ola Poke, I think there’s an opportunity to make the bowls more customizable: alternate bases (brown rice, better greens), additional add-ins, textures and house made sauces. Looking forward to watching it grow and trying their poke shooters next time.

This place has some of the freshest fish I've had in Austin-- for a decent price as well. The tasty fish along with the other flavors create a great bowl of poke. One thing I didn't like, however, is the fact that you can't customize the toppings your bowl, only the type of protein in it.

Bright open airy spot with delicious fresh bowls. The fish is great quality and the service is prompt and courteous. The music is on point as well

This is the best Poke spot I have found in Austin. Really, really incredible protein options, with the perfect blend of extras. Fish and Rice is my favorite lunch spot in the city — healthy, filling, relatively fast, and fairly priced ($12) — and I can’t recommend it highly enough.
