First Watch

This was a really great breakfast! The food was delicious and the service was incredibly friendly. The only thing about this place that made me dock a star was the fact that they try too hard to feel homey and like your eating straight from a farm. But hey, the food was really good so whatever works for them. Another thing about this place, you have to wait awhile to be seated and to be served. It's most likely because we came on a Sunday morning, but we got to the restaurant at 9:50am and already had a 30 minute wait for a party of two. So don't try to come here on a whim because you will be looking at a hefty wait. So First Watch is definitely a great place for breakfast (The chickenchanga and lemon ricotta pancakes were great!) just make sure you get here early!

I love that these places do their best source all of their ingredients locally. This was a favorite spot for my grandmother, for good reason. Everything is fresh, made to order. Staff at this location, as every other I’ve been to, are attentive and courteous. I’ve never had a negative experience at any First Watch, and Southside is no exception. Looking forward to going again soon.

I had the farmhouse hash and it was delicious! I was hesitant to try this place because a friend said she didn’t like the food. But I’m very glad I tried it myself! Maybe she ordered the wrong thing or her food was bland but my food was amazing. I enjoyed the toast so much that I asked what the breads brand name was. I was pleasantly surprised to find out the bread can be bought at the store! I will definitely be returning here and bringing my friends.

I've been to a lot of restaurants in my life. This place isn't the fanciest, but it's very nice. The food is excellent. Always enjoy eating here.

The food was good but a smidge pricey. The meal for me, my daughter and grandson was almost $60.

Love First Watch! The food is always fresh and looks just as great as it taste. It's nice to know I have a healthier and fresh option when I have breakfast/brunch food cravings.

Service was a bit slow and food arrived like warm at best.How does a waitress serve french toast and not bring syrup?However, food was very good.

Always consistent, always good! The online check in is really easy, and they were able to accommodate our request to sit outside despite being busy. Service was good and the food was tasty. This location is on par with all the other first watches I've been to.

Hands down the best breakfast spot in town! The food is delicious and always fresh. Portions are not overwhelming. Lots of healthy options! The service is always great! Ask to sit with Justin, you won't regret it!

*I’m a GA resident. In Jax for the weekend & I’ve never been here before*3 stars because the food was good. Service wasn’t terrible but sub par & my tip reflected that. Restaurant had an unpleasant smell, like how a restaurant smells to someone who works there. 2 empty water glasses on the table were both obviously dirty, not sure why they were even placed on the table & we had to tell the server to take them. I would order food to go again, but won’t be eating inside...

We went here for breakfast and have not been disappointed. Service is friendly and fast, you get a lot of choices for food and drinks. The food and the homemade lemonades are delicious. We got pancakes, quinoa pesto bowl and power wrap, very tasty. Would go there again if I need a good and healthy breakfast.

The food was truly fresh and delicious. It was busy but the wait staff was accurate with wait times. Also had the strawberry basil smash the was just right on a hot day

Quality ingredients, great menu, friendly service. We go here for breakfast a few times a month and always have a great experience. I definitely recommend the market skillet, farmhouse skillet, and pancakes. They have an awesome seasonal menu too!

The service was great, the good was okay but the manager went above and beyond to make sure we were taken cared of. Thank you for your hospitality.
