First Watch

The place was clean, service good, and food tasted fine. I would compare it to IHOP. The loaded omelette was good and my daughters chocolate chip pancake looked good as well. I gave four stars because our server was very attentive and pleasant, other wise it would have been three. Nothing at all wrong with the dining experience but nothing set it apart from other similar restaurants.

Excellent poached eggs. The cheeses in the cooking are great. One addition that would increase business exponentially in my opinion would be Canadian bacon for the Classic Eggs Benedict. The tomatoes served with the dish should be on the side with more herbs and vinaigrette instead of in the center of the dish. Then the suggested greens would not be part of the dish.

Always a good meal here. They have a wide variety to choose from and the staff is always friendly and they are the type to remember you. The coffee is really good too. They can get really busy sometimes though and it can start to seem a bit hectic for the staff.

I thought this place has a lot of potential. It's Randy, clean, great variety of menu options, including healthy ones. But the service was just ok, some of our orders came out wrong, and my food was luke warm.

So far the service at restaurants in the Birmingham area has not been great, and this place was no different. I’m not sure if it’s a race issue but waiters are not warm and friendly in this state. Our waiter here never asked if we were ready for our ticket, she just put it on our table as she was passing by and we had no idea we had to pay it up front. The food on the other had was AMAZING! Order was taken quickly and it arrived in a timely manner

Food was really delicious, it was so crowded and noisy though.

This place was solid. I had an omelette...it was incredible! I'm on a low carb diet and this place is definitely a new option for breakfast/lunch in the area!

ALL FIRST WATCHES ARE FIRST CLASS!! Best wide-ranging menu of tasty breakfast, brunch, and lunch dishes at great price!!! If you haven't been yet, you're missing out!!!

Lots of options with a number of healthy options as well. Nice clean restaraunt with quick friendly service despite being very busy.

Food is excellent and fast, servers are accommodating towards large groups that have different timetables! Highly recommend!

If you don't mind waiting in long lines for a fabulous dish, como here for a nice breakfast.

It was great. One of my eggs was a little over cooked but definitely going to go back.

Absolutely delicious!!! Great atmosphere and our waitress was kind and gave us great suggestions. The million dollar bacon was amazing.

We had a great experience at First Watch Hoover. Emily was an excellent server. Our food came out hot and fresh and it was so delicious. We waited about 20 minutes for brunch on Sunday at 11am. We shopped next door for soap while we waited and they texted us when our table was ready. We had the power wrap and the bacado omelette. The bacon was amazing. We will definitely be back!
