Sandwiches are good but sometimes the service is slow

Everything was super good except the Mac and cheese, it was like 5$ and tasted worse than Kraft

Their subs are fire!...but, they need to hire more people 😣

Good sandwiches, lots of options. Restaurant itself seemed a little dirty for the time of day. Pre-lunch and floors and 5 tables had trash laying around.

Ate in and had carry out. Bread was tough on take out but fine inside. Guessing the steam bath it gets doesn't last on drive home. Here again just a sandwich nothing special. But they did donate $ to fire department which is a plus. Anyplace that gives back to community has my business

Don't let the price scare you! That BBQ brisket & cheddar is one fine #&@*?# samich. Don't ask for a bite I ain't sharing.

Slow to place order, slow to prepare order but very tasty

The staff is always very friendly (and recognizes you if you've eaten there often like I do). I've never had terrible service, and the couple times there was a mistake on my order the staff fixed it quickly with no problems. Firehouse Subs is the best place in Lawrence to get a sandwich!

I like subs a lot, and I think these are just about the best I've had. This is the first time I've been to this location and I was greeted by both staff members as soon as I walked in. The sub was fresh and delicious; I'm not normally a fan of smoked meat, especially turkey, but the Hook & Ladder might just change my mind! The prices are very reasonable and being able to contribute to first responders makes me feel good. There's no franchise where I live, so being able to eat here is a real treat!

Staff is always nice, good price for good subs. The lobby is always fairly clean.
