Always a disappointment unfortunately. Have tried this Firehouse several times, during lunch and evening, but it’s the same. It’s okay if you want everything standard. But they don’t seem capable of customizing a sub like withholding certain toppings, or anything that’s not the programmed normal. Like some of the 1 star reviews mention here, getting what you ask for from the staff is usually difficult. They don’t act like they care, are preoccupied with phone orders, food delivery services, or their personal issues. Asking for something or just placing an order like an inconvenience. When you’re paying $8-$12 for only the sandwich, you expect a healthy serving of the toppings you ask for, especially if ‘extra’ has been asked for. TLTR food is mediocre, not a good value, generally not prepared accurately, and service leaves a lot to be desired.

The hook and latter was good. Excellent customer service and the young lady Ms. Ambriel set the bar for how to greet and provide excellent customer service. We need more workers like her. Good customer service is hard to find. I will be coming back!

Hook and ladder was soggy. Person doing curb side orders was breaking down boxes near dumpsters and went inside. When I saw he was the one about to touch my order, I went inside before he grabbed mine. When I called someone answered and I voiced my complaint how unsanitary that was. Then to get home and have a soggy sandwich just ruined that meal. Was hoping online ordering would be great but not so much. I'll drive to the fsu branch next time that owner and staff makes the best sandwiches .
