Figs

Figs is a Fairmount neighborhood classic. I've only ever enjoyed their brunch menu, but that menu never disappoints. Highly recommend the Moroccan eggs, the BLT, or any of their omelettes. Their staff are always friendly as well.

Cozy space, pleasant service. They could use a few more vegetarian options on the menu.

People shouldn't sleep on this place if they live in Fairmount or even if they live elsewhere. Get some brunch or dinner before your whole foods run! I went there for brunch recently and it was just as good as when I used to live in the neighborhood if not better. They have such great food and the Moroccan mint tea is so much better than anything I can ever make at home.

Great meal, classic Fairmount Park setting, very reasonable prices. BYOB, cash-only (ATM right outside). I had the lamb shank tagine; could have been a bit spicier, but the flavor was rich.

This is Philadelphia's best brunch. The pancakes are wonderfully unique. Even something as small as the orange juice is splendid. The service and prices are equally pleasant.
