My husband and I usually LOVE this place but we have had two bad experiences with this Spanish manager seems to be discrimination against us. Other than his rude attitude and gross customer service skills the food is always amazing

Great BBQ! The meats ate top notch, the sides are delicious. And the restaurant is located in a great area. The beer selection is good but nothing to write home about; but the 5 big screen TVs make the bar a great place to enjoy both British and American football

Being from the south, I can honestly say this is the best BBQ I've had in DC in my 7 years in the area. I absolutely love the selection of sauces, mostly because they have all the regionally based sauces (both SC mustard-based and NC vinegar-based most importantly).The prices are so reasonable for the amount of food you get. Can't say enough good things about this place.

We stopped here with 3 toddlers after walking around the zoo. AMAZING food and VERY kid friendly. Even one of our friends who was in the group from the south liked the food. It was well priced and didnt break the bank. There was even enough room to put our double stroller by the front. We will definitely be stopping here anytime we go to the zoo.

Ribs are very good. Collard greens are slamming! I also love the onion strips. This place has become a habit for me and my husband.

This is the ONLY review that matters! OH MY GAWD!!!! Let me tell you sum’in... when your appetizer (Fried Green Tomatoes) and your side dish (I got the Greens) could be an entree, you got good problems! This plate is the BEST I’ve had on the eastern seaboard, and I’m a traveling eating fool! The pulled chicken is divine. Smoked to perfection and delicately sauced for an amazing feat of flavor and happiness. Go, eat... NOW!!! PS Night Manager PJ is the friggin’ MAN!!!

I had the brisket sandwich, it was solidly ok. I like that there's a large variety of sauces to choose from. The staff was great and the prices were good.

Brisket not seasoned well at all. Lacks flavor to include sides.

Asked for brisket, got turkey instead. Pulled pork was dry...I didnt know that was possible. Mac'n Cheese turned into a rock while I was still eating it. Beans are good. But it's beans, they always are. Brisket came out, half was good,other half was like eating chalk. Their BBQ sauces were tasty. Thank goodness, I needed them badly. Can't recommend. Too much cash to leave unsatisfied .

I came on a friday at 1130 and I was the only one in there. Service was fairly quick for being dead, but the food was awesome. The pulled chicken sandwich was amazing, and the potato salad was great as well, not too much vinegar, or mustard. It was overall a great experience and all under $15 including tip for 1 person.
