We are a one of a kind authentic Ethiopian restaurant located in the heart of Shaw. We have a little bit of something for everyone. We serve a wide variety of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten and lactose-free, seafood, chicken, lamb and beef dishes that will leave you feeling stuffed.

What a wonderful experience. We made a reservation about an hour before and the tables were ready and reserved for us when we got there. Half of our party hadn't arrived but they gave us no issues and seated us while we waited. When the rest of our party, they accommodated us and made us feel very comfortable even though we had a lot of kids. The food was amazing. Some of the best kitfo I've ever had. We were there for a while and they never once hassled us. They were very friendly and engaged us in conversation and we're great with the kids. We will definitely be back here for Ethiopian food when we're back in DC, and will definitely be suggesting this to friends coming to DC.

Came here with my wife on a date night and was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and the service was AMAZING. I was skeptical of all the 5 star ratings, but after this experience have to rate it 5 stars myself!
