Home style southern cooking is delicious. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly and attentive. It's a little out of the way but worth it. Extremely busy during season.

I have been hearing about the Farmers market restaurant for years and everyone seems to love. great food, big portions, great service, great price, it certainly lived up to its reputation in my book!

INCREDIBLE ! Good old fashion southern food. Found this place tucked away off Fowler in an industrial section of Fort Myers.We ordered the fried chicken. It was perfect, not greasy, tender and the taste was really good. They have an array of side dishes. We had mac and cheese, pickled baby beets, fried okra, collard greens, and a broccoli salad. All of them were very good. Can't wait to go back and try a few more different dishes. The place is not fancy, but comfortable. The wait staff is very friendly and our service was terrific!!

I had heard such good things, so was looking forward to going here for lunch. The service was awful, the food was almost inedible. We were in line a long time to pay the bill. We were a group of about 12 people, so perhaps they're not equipped for that. However, how hard is it to make a decent grilled cheese sandwich? I won't be back.

The stuffed pepper was awesome. If you go away hungry it is your own fault.

Fresh food and good service. Taste was decent but not as good as i was expecting it to be.

Talk about great food this place is it! I'm giving Farmers Market Restaurant five stars because of the great Hometown feel of the staff kind of like we were all good friends. The wait time was very short considering there was quite a few people dining today. The food was absolutely amazing I got country fried steak sweet potato fries coleslaw and steamed broccoli with sweet tea. And I was in heaven it was delicious I would recommend this place to anyone for sure. The ladies in this restaurant are so friendly and not the overwhelming fake kind of friendly but the small town goodness kind... by the way on the way out I grabbed a piece of their strawberry cheesecake and it alone gets 5 stars!

The food was great ....real southern cooking. I had the stuffed green peppers with real mashed potatoes and the best cole slaw. They do have daily specials " Thursday's they have homemade chicken & dumplings. Their menu has so much to offer. You just have to try it!!

Honestly I love it. Dottie was perfect and it made me feel at home like when i was younger and my aunt made breakfast for me i dont usually eat breakfast so this was wonderful.

The food is like home cooked meals. You'll walk out with a full feeling. Great and friendly staff. It's a place to enjoy a great dinner.

The good was very good. The waitress that took our order was fun to talk with. The prices were reasonable. For me the only thing I really did not like was the bathroom. Of 3 stalls in the ladies room only 1 was working and that was messy.
