Farmbird

I'm currently in DC, coming from Austin, Tx. Farmbird is the first place I've found here that truly deserves a review. The food is fast and fresh, tasting like something you see people on the Food channel saying you can make at home (even though I can't).If you're in the area, come on in and grab a plate!

It's an interesting concept. The place is nice and clean.

Sooooooo good! Chicken was juicy (literally never thought I would type those words) with this amazing crisp to it. Tried the sweet potato and Mac n cheese and both were yummy as well :) shout out to Jordan for being super helpful with helping us figure out the sauces! Definitely coming back!

4.5 stars rounded up to 5. Both the chicken plates that my party had — roasted corn fajita and chipotle marsala — were delicious, as was the Mac and cheese side. The roasted sweet potatoes as a side were also great. The side greens weren’t great and the broccoli was just okay, but the high quality, reasonable prices, and friendly and quick service made up for it. Check it out!

Consistently delicious, flavorful food. Very family-friendly options with a home-cooked feel...the kids will love the side options that go along with the main. And it's food you can feel good about eating. Love that they make it fresh in front of you. (I wish all restaurants were this transparent with food handling.)Only thing is seating is limited and it can get pretty crowded in the small dining space.

Really good options for the price, and it was delicious. Definitely going back again after this first trip.

It is a delight!Tasty and healthy food in the right portions.I can eat lunch here everyday and definitely not get bored of it.My favorite - chicken thigh with spicy roasted fresno and brown basmati rice with sweet potato.Best sweet potato I ever had.

Portions not worth the price. It's really a $5 meal box. Cashier tried to hard to put up a professional act. Just keep it simple it's only chicken and dried lettuce.

I got the chipotle masala with a chicken breast and two sides and was in love. The chicken was cooked perfectly and went along well with my two sides. The meal itself well priced and was a perfect serving size. The manager, April Jordan, was super helpful and allowed us to try the masala sauce to make sure we liked it before ordering. Amazing service!

If you're looking for a healthy place to eat with food that's also full of flavor, check out Farmbird. The grilled chicken was delicious and the pickled veggies complemented it well. It motivated me to try and replicate this dish at home! The Mac and cheese was good. Not super cheesy but just what I needed on my "cheat" day. The bread crumbs on top was a nice touch as it added texture to the dish.The customer service was great and it's reasonably priced for such quality food. The space is noce and open. Stopped here after an interview out of inconvenience and was so pleasantly surprised! The cashier was overly kind and so willing to help us. When we explained that we had never been there before, she kindly offered us suggestions and information (I wish I remembered her name)! Additionally, the chicken was amazing and I had the best sweet potatoes I’ve ever tasted. I would hands down say this is the best fast food I’d ever had.

I love Farmbird!! It's the best place to go when you're craving chipotle/something quick but the food is very healthy! I get the Chicken Masala, kale, and sweet potatoes. The sweet potatoes are SO good, and I usually hate kale but theirs is done well. Everything tastes so fresh and the chicken has no fatty/gross parts. Highly recommend!!

They did something here I love: they made sure to flavor every individual ingredient.They also accommodated my husband's onion allergy. Not every place does that, and it's really, really appreciatedThis means every bite was good. Every single bite, from the chicken to the kale to the sweet potato.Everything was fresh - and yes, there is a difference. Nothing tasted frozen.On top of that, the staff was fantastic and helpful, and even patient when it took me a while to figure out the menu. If I lived here, I would definitely be a regular. Great quality and very quick for such intricate and delicious food. Love this place!

Came here with my sister and she ordered the almost the same thing I got except she got the bok choy instead of the kale. We both got the macaroni which was DELICIOUS and the chicken marsala which was pretty good too over a bed of cauliflower rice. Food came out pretty quick and is easy to take to go.
