Some of the best tamales I have ever had! The mole and pazole are also excellent!

So I’m originally from El Paso TX where the Mexican food is authentic. You can buy a dozen tamales for $12, these were $36 (that’s way too much money for a dozen tamales). These tamales were big completely stuffed, which is a good thing. There were a few things I didn’t like, these tamales had corn in them and that was a first for me. I ordered 1/2 a dozen of jalapeño with cheese and the jalapeño had the skin on it. When you cut a piece with your fork the whole jalapeños with cheese comes out in full. I would recommend you all take the skin off the jalapeño and cut the jalapeño into pieces. For the most part they were good but no dozen tamales not even authentic ones are worth $36, that’s highway robbery.

Small restaurant with a bang! This is a hidden gym in lexington. Lived here for 10 years before I found this place and it solid! Tamales with queso on top are 🔥🔥!! Black beans are seasoned well and the rice is perfect. Even have piñatas for sell lol def need to stop by to check it out!

Lots to see (and buy, if compelled) at the Farm Market Mexican restaurant. I only had the tacos, beans and rice and it was all good, but didn't blow me away. The salsa (medium and hot) was good not great. All the food was authentic, but something was missing for me. Service was okay, though not especially friendly or helpful. We weren't offered drinks when we ordered and didn't see them on the menu, but found them in the cooler after taking a look around. Lots of stuff all over and most is for sale. I love little hole in the wall places; they almost seem to be trying too hard. Nothing to look at outside, lots of stuff everywhere inside. More than ample parking. Would be a fun visit for kids!

This reminds me of little places I have eaten in Central America. Don't go expecting a typical Americanized Mexican restaurant. It's a restaurant/market with friendly staff and lots to look at. The guacamole is fresh and chunky. Perfection. I don't even like tamales but I decided to try them since others raved about them. I loved them! These are the best tamales in town! The selection isn't huge but the food is fresh and delicious and prices very reasonable

They specialize in tamales so that's what I had. It was good, served on a corn husk with beef with beans and rice. It's a small dining area, but they have a plethora of knick knacks, clothing for sale and other stuff. It's a unique little place worth trying. A lot of authentic items and decorations. You'd never suspect any of this from looking at the outside of the building.

On our drive from Ohio to Tennessee, I found this #3 highest ranking restaurant on Yelp. We were not dissappointed. The parking is the only confusing thing. But the staff and the food was great. The restaurant/store outside is brightly colored, but the inside is a giant splash of color. Found out from the son-in-law, that his mother-in-law makes the food and the pinatas in the store!!!! What??? Not only is her food amazing, full over great Mexican flavors, but she handmakes the pinatas too? What a talented lady.Anyway, we had tamales: pork, chicken, and jalapeno cheese covered the verde sauce and cheese. Yummmmm. Carnitas torta and black beans. Also had to try the homemade corn tortillas. They were out, light and a little crunch on top. This is a place I would come to over and over again. This has to be a best kept secret in Lexington.

Questions & Answers

Yes. And you can even get unheated tamales to take home and heat when you want them. ?
