A true gem in the small, New England town of Duxbury. Farfar’s delivers one of the best chocolate ice creams ever. I grew up on Farfar’s so maybe it’s bias, but I’ve eaten a lot of varieties of ice cream and this flavor is so iconic. Inside and outside eating. Had my first cone/cup about 28-29 years ago. Got to share it with my nephew the other weekend.

Ice cream is always excellent, issue is went on Tuesday at 8:26pm and they had already locked the door .When I stood there and caught an employees eye they ignored me and looked away. Hours on the door said 9pm close. Disappointing.

Yummy. Sweet Danish cream is a fav - it’s extra creamy vanilla really but just so good. We make the trek out here from Hingham. One of my two fav IC places on the South Shore.

No credit card, just cash. They have really good flavors of ice cream and a sit out right outside the shop where you can sit and enjoy your buy. Lil funny story about my encounter with the staff, she asked me if I needed the big cone or the kids size then I jokingly showed her my beards(signaling that I'm not a kid) but she brought the kids Cone for me, I almost cried 😂
