We went to a play there in the afternoon. The old old live oak trees are beautiful. The gardens are great. There are small interesting buildings and the big house. It's an old plantation house but of course the slave quarters were not near the house.

It has an interesting history but cell service for Pokemon Go is a little challenging. Wonderful place to wander and roam. You can't tell on the outside how big it is behind the fences. Love the garden on the old tennis court and the old water tower.

One of the most charming venues in Tallahassee, Goodwood Museum and Gardens hosts beautiful landscape and unique architecture throughout the property. The staff are so sweet and helpful which is always appreciated when working at a wedding venue. We love when we get the opportunity to work at Goodwood as we always know we will have stunning photos of our couples on this gorgeous property.

You will find the grounds are very nice grounds, with interesting local history and occasional special events and activities. I only got to see a small portion but I plan to go back for a tour and to see some of the historical collections.

A very Tallahassee historic venue. The new air conditioned barn dinning area worked very well. Food was great. The grounds are well kept. It's like being in the country, but only minutes from the Capitol. Handles parties up to two hundred persons.

Very nicely preserved old house. Staff is very attentive and during the tour the explanations were superb. You can walk the whole house. Uncommon in this type.of museums

My Mom and I were given a wonderful private tour (not booked privately, but no one else was there at the same time we were) of this beautiful home. I was especially intrigued by the realization that all of the items in the house are original to the home. So often I find on historical house tours that the items are from the representative period, but are not original to the home. It would be a great tour for older children to show them what life was like in earlier times. The price for the tour was reasonable, and we had two lovely and knowledgeable guides who answered any question we could think of! No photos are allowed inside the home, but you can take photos outside the home and on the grounds. It is free of charge to wander the grounds if you aren't able to take the house tour, and there are informative signs throughout the lovely park-like grounds. There is a cafe that is open for lunch on the grounds as well.

Absolutely stunning. I adore this place and wish I had had more time here while I was in town. Very well maintained manor home with good old southern charm and beauty. If you are looking for a nice afternoon activity with family I recommend this lovely place.
