Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que

The food was decent (limited menu compared to the other famous Dave’s) but yikes the service has really went downhill. I had to get up three separate times to find our server for simple things (water, wrong food brought to the table, OUR CHECK) and he was unapologetic and acted as if he was doing our table a favor by waiting on us. The hostess seemed nice, but spoke virtually no English which made things difficult when I was trying to find our server and then when I asked for crayons for my nephew.

Staff was friendly and food was delicious.

The portion is huge, really juicy and delicious. The place has a vintage theme which makes it good for families and the staff is really nice

This place is a hit or miss. 1st visit, food was horrible, 2nd visit food was delicious, 3rd visit food was horrible again. Cornbread was hard as a rock, baby back ribs were tough. I am done with this location.

Was so craving a Devil spit burger. Waitress asked what we wanted to drink I asked if they had a full service bar? Nope beer and wine ....Ordered my burger and asked to have it cooked medium with some pink in the middle. No it’s meat so it has to be cooked well. What happen to customer service training? No “I’m sorry, I will see what I can do”Food was good service was not, she wanted to seat us right at the top of the stairs where we would be in the path although 80% of the upper area was empty.

Amazing ribs, the legend of Famous Dave's holds up to the food served.

I ordered the ribs here and they were not palatable. These ribs were super dry and they were so tough that it was like I was chewing on a rubber tire. I had to use a decent amount of force to actually rip the meat off of the bone. The person I was with also told me that their meat was dry and tough. The fries and cornbread that came with it were good, though. Gathering from what other reviewers have written, it seems that this restaurant has a tendency of serving their ribs and some of their meats very dry and tough, as were my ribs. Hopefully, they will read their reviews and take this into account when cooking. I'm assuming that it's either the quality of meat and/or the way it's being cooked.Will not return and wouldn't recommend.Personally, I would recommend eating at MAC's or Monk's instead.

We live near-by so we order take out from here occasionally. Several times we have received the wrong order. The last time I called our order in I was told they no longer have several of our favorite sides that are still listed on the website menu. When we got our food, the order was wrong again. There are only 4 combos on the menu, how do you put ALL of the wrong meat in one?? Ordered the Ribs and burnt ends and all I got was a pile of rib tips. Some of them were burned and too hard to even eat... so I guess that counted as burnt ends?? If you order take-out, CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE STORE!

This is a great place to go if you want to eat somthing BBqued. Service is good, Food taste good.

Got raw chicken wings.. but they made me a fresh order. And I didnt have to pay for any of it!

It was cool that they had a variety of sauces. The Ribs were okay but, a little tough. The Brisket was decent. I did like the setting though.

Nastiest F D’s ever! Theron’s weren’t fully cooked. Didn’t complain cause they took a very long time to serve and didn’t want to wait longer for them to cook them again. Just took it home and finished cooking them. Ridiculous!!!

Been here a few years ago and was great, this time want great at all. The ribs were very fatty and extremely tough to chew. Will not be returning to this location again.
