Falafel King

Delicious fresh food. The place is spotless when it comes to clean.Owner and staff are very polite and kind.Most of all their chicken and rice is actually well cooked, where most Mediterranean places tend to mess up.

On one of the first days at my company, a colleague took me to the old New York Deli on Temple Street and introduced me to Kadhim. I couldn't understand why he would take the time - it's not like this guy is going to remember me out of all of the people who come through there. My mistake - every time I would see him over the years, at whatever location, Kadhim would come from behind the counter and greet me by name like an old friend. Understand - he was told my name once, over 20 years ago. I don't even go out to lunch very often - sometimes it would be years between visits to one of the Falafel King locations. But every time I enter, it's a big smile and greeting and an expression of appreciation that cannot be faked...go check them out!

Reliably good falafel, shawarma, and kebab. Take a napkin.

Food was yummy but pricey for what you get. We got the combo plate and it only had one falafel. The tabouli was really good though and the salad and falafel as well. A perk was the free extra pitas, which we took advantage of. We also got a baba ganoush roll which was okay--the falafel roll seems much more popular and filling. I also wish the place had reusable plates/utensils for dining in. It's a good place for falafel near the Boston Common, but I probably wouldn't come back.

I ordered falafel and chicken platter. All of their sauces lacked the spices, and felt bland to my taste. Friendly staffa and good for quick bite.

My friends and I ate here prior to going to the AMC movie. It was the cleanest restaurant I've eaten in downtown. The entire place was clean, even the bathroom. Great job, excellent service, comfortable, relaxed eating environment. I had the beef lamb Shawarma with rice and salad. I was stuffed and it was great tasting food. The hot sauce was very tasty along with the all you can eat bread. I believe this was my first time eating this type of food and I would recommend this to everyone who wants to experience the above mentioned place to eat. Thank you for providing this restaurant to the community. Keep up the good work.

Excellent food at great prices along with excellent and friendly service. At 11 AM on a weekday there was plenty of seating available. I couldn't recommend this more.

Amazing place to eat at! Huge proportions at a very affordable price. Friendly staff, everyone who orders gets a huge Hummus-dipped Falafel to start off before finishing the order. It's a clean and new restaurant. I will definitely visit everytime I visit Boston. The meat is Halal as well if only eat Halal.
