Evelyn's Food Love

I came today for Friday Fish Fry, and it was amazing. The fish was seasoned to perfection. The decor is state of the art. The Customer Service is exceptional. It's good to see people that take pride in their food.

The food is delicious. The portions are nice and the seasoning is just right. The service with a smile and personable help is why I'll be going back. The owner came out to check on us and we we so full we couldn't sit up straight.

This is an excellent choice for southern comfort food. This restaurant serves a variety of entrees and on Sundays thy offer soul food. Me and my mom had their catfish special and it wasn’t greasy but delicious. The green beans and spaghetti with meat sauce was great. If you are health conscious, particularly with high blood pressure or diabetes, the food is prepared without the extra stuff that would add to those conditions. In other words, it’s low sodium and not over saturated with sugar. I highly recommend the peach cobbler. It was so good. The atmosphere and location of the restaurant was nice and free parking. It was truly a great experience and I will be back.

I have nothing but great things to say about this establishment. The hospitality shown by Evelyn and her staff was as if you were a guest in their home - very friendly, engaging, and attentive. The food was amazing (crawfish shrimp & grits with Belgium waffles and Carmel cheesecake)! It was perfect! I didn't have to add any seasoning, not even syrup for my Belgium Waffles! I can't wait to visit again to try more items from their menu. Go and I guarantee you'll LOVE the LOVE put into the food made at Evelyn's Food Love!

This is a fairly new establishment that has a LOT of potential. Plenty of parking and it's small and cozy. Food portions are a bit small for the prices, but they provide a nice variety of food choice for all types of eaters (i.e. fish, chicken. Beef, salads, etc.). Turkey burger is decent. The chicken was yummy and definitely had you craving for more. Service is nice and they are happy to answer any question about the food. It's definitely worth giving them a try.

Exceptional and fresh food, I liked the mood the place has, and the cashiers were very welcoming. I will surely come back again.

I went there on Soul food Sunday with friends. The hospitality and kindness of the staff was awesome! There were 9 of us in the party and we were helped to set up the tables for our group. It was nice to each be able to pay individually at the counter since this can be troublesome when paying for large parties on multiple checks. The food was very good and cool to see the different days with different food themes. I look forward to eating there again! And the cookie butter cream cake is amazing!!!
