Ernie's Fried Chicken

Freaking awesome breakfast tacos. Fat Ernie's ate the best!

Called this place to ask a couple of questions in the early morning regarding whether or not they serve fried chicken in the mornings & the guy loudly and sarcastically replies "HECK NO!"... Mind you I've never been to this place and am honestly trying to find out. Despite the unnecessarily rude response, I ask my other question as to whether or not they offer beans on their breakfast burritos. He laughs and says " What..have you never been here before or something". I let him know that he's correct, I have never been there and definitely won't be with that kind of unnecessary rude response for a couple simple questions. Add that recipe of unprofessionalism to y'alls cookbook & you'll be sure to lose potential customers. Won't be going here, regardless of the hype about the food.

Fat Ernies are the best breakfast burrito around!

Ernie's has been a staple in the Belton community for many years now. Their establishment keeps a down home feel. Their business thrives because it is centered around Christ. You definitely won't go wrong there. We love Ernie's chicken and burritos (the famous Fat Ernie).

Great fried chicken. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly people. Reasonably priced, and great sides to go work the chicken or catfish

Really wish this burrito was still what I remembered from years ago. There's a significant amount of potato in the Fat Ernie, which is slightly bland. At first, I didn't really find any bacon, but realized it was all in one spot. The bacon was cooked perfectly, though! Didn't taste much chorizo, and the egg is more of a seasoning than a filling ingredient. $4+ for tortilla-wrapped potato was not what I had my heart set on. It's certainly not *bad*, for sure, just nothing to write home about. Bittersweet. I'll definitely be returning to try out some chicken, though.

Amazing , would definitely recommend. The chicken and okra was amazing and the burritos are bomb. Great customer service and super kind.

Absolutely love Ernie's! We have been getting the "Fat Ernie" for the last 20 years. Hands down the best breakfast burrito in town. The family that owns the business has owned it for decades and are such great people. Can't say enough about this place.

Me and my coworkers order breakfast burritos every single weekend and sometimes during the week. Some days their delivery drivers are an hour late and sometimes they are there on time. I called this morning and all of a sudden they don’t do delivery until “8:30-9:00” but they open at 7. Doesn’t really make sense to me. Shouldn’t there be a set time that the employees show up? Ya know, like a scheduled time? How can you run a business if you’re employees just show up whenever they want to? If the food wasn’t so good they would lose my business. 😩
