Enolo Wine Cafe is a restaurant, that specializes in American Regional food with a Mediterranean influence style. We work with local and sustainable ingredients, at it season's peak, to be able to get the freshest of the market. Our wines are first and foremost food friendly. We like to bring Old World and New World wines that are more on the esoteric side, and singular in style. The rest of our beverage program will include beers from Chicago and our Suburb breweries, crafted drinks and a list of hand picked spirits. And finally our main ingredient is to create the most approachable and unpretentious experience for all our guest." Chicago native Rich Phelps has taken on the executive chef role at Enolo after impressive runs in well-respected West Coast and Midwestern restaurants. Phelps’ background includes stints in highly-regarded culinary institutions such as Michael Mina’s flagship restaurant & Nancy Oak’s Boulevard based in San Francisco, in addition to Carrie Nahabedian’s Naha & Michael Kornick’s mk The Restaurant based in Chicago. Enolo Wine Cafe is chef’s first executive role, and he emphasizes “placing a keen focus on simplicity, letting the ingredients in each dish speak for themselves.” His culinary philosophy can be seen throughout the restaurant’s new menu . New signature menu items include housemade charcuterie such as Pork Terraine, Chicken Liver Mousse, and Duck Rilette; handmade pastas like Parpadelle, Ravioli, and Bolognaise; and medium seasonal plates such as Prawns a la Plancha, Margherita Pizza, and Scallops. In addition to embracing a new culinary program, Enolo Wine Cafe has expanded and upgraded its globally-influenced wine list with the hire of general manager and certified sommelier, Anthony Rossi. Rossi brings experience and education from a pedigree of Michelin-starred restaurants including Sepia, where he worked under Jean Banchet’s Best Sommelier of 2015, Arthur Hon; Sixteen at the Trump, Courtright’s and C Chicago. Rossi is determined to raise the profile of the already talented team at the restaurant and make Enolo Wine Cafe a wine, food, and social experience unlike any other in the neighborhood.

Sure, Chicago wines are cute and I like how they add things to the wine like cranberries to give it a certain Style. But California and French wines are such a better purity off the vine. If you're looking for a good wine, I recommend coming by Enolo wine bar.

Nice place to visit once... It was too loud inside we could barely talk to each other... Food was pricy and small. Good taste though. Service was good too. I'd not give an outstanding on anything. Just another regular placer...
