My husband and I went here for the first time today. Everyone was very nice, welcoming, and helpful. We had the Rosemary Chicken Pie and the Indian Chai tea. Everything was fantastic! We can't wait to go back!

Greeted with a smile! Our family ordered our lunch and picked our tea. We made reservations just in case it was busy. Everything on the menu is fresh and DELICIOUS! The family can not wait until we come back. Love making memories. Even the two year old had fun

Had a pot of Earl Grey tea that was steeped perfectly. Scones were yummy with clotted cream and lemon curd - yum! The employees were so attentive and informative. We had a nice "girls" time.

Questions & Answers

You'll make an appointment at a time that suits you.

Sunday hours are 11 am til 3:30 pm Look forward to seeing you Rob

You MUST make reservations for Mother's day weekend. Mother's Day is usually reservation only. Other weekends, busy times vary. If you want a high tea service, you will need to make reservations regardless of time or date. If ordering off the cafe menu (like you would at Panera, for example), as long as it isn't a crazy day, you can walk in without reservation but won't get as fancy a tea service. I recommend calling ahead on weekends to see how busy it is, especially if you have a group of 5 or more.

Hi Kathy. I worked at Tealeaves for almost 6 years. Shelf life of tea (regardless of where you buy it) depends on a few things: green teas tend to sour faster than black teas, tisanes, or herbals in my experience. Oolongs vary. If you keep the tea in the foil-lined white bag it is sold in at Tealeaves, a black tea can stay good in a cool, dry cabinet for a very long time depending on whether there are other ingredients in it. A plain tea will stay good longer than one with, for instance, fruit or nuts in it. If you really want to keep a tea good for a long time, I recommend purchasing a vacuum seal double-lid container (I have a couple stainless steel ones I picked up from the Container Store). This allows you to protect your tea from air, light, and humidity much more effectively, lengthening its shelf life. I hope this information helps you!
