Empire Chinese Restaurant

It was ok. It isn't as good as Hop Feng in Mint Hill NC.

First time eating empire chinese is years and its wasn't as i remember it to be. Ordered myself and family food varying dishes but all chicken. The chicken was a little dry maybe overcooked and the sauce didn't seem to have a lot of flavor. The vegetable egg roll was excellent. I wouldn't say the food was bad by any means it just needs a little tweak. The inside of the restaurant was very clean even the cooking area which is abnormal for these type of restaurants. They do have drinks to purchase with your order on the counter chilled. Please note that before going the restaurant to pickup food that they do charge 3.95% for ALL card transactions regardless of the amount. Debit cards are spose to be treated as cash according the merchant agreement but its not worth the hassle arguing. Avoid this by bringing cash.

Good food

My recommendation is the honey chicken. Every now and then the chicken it over cooked but the honey sauce makes it worth it.

Pretty much just take out. Food seemed ok, but I am not so used to eat on the run any more. Prices are moderate for this location.

It's good, not too pricey, and the food is prepared pretty quickly. One of the best Chinese joints in the area!!

I am a regular here and the food is delicious! It's close and convenient. The staff is friendly. The only thing is that if you pay with a credit card there is an extra charge.

Please reopen. I can’t live much longer without your BBQ spare ribs. The best ribs in town.
