Emmets Irish Pub & Restaurant

Nice place to stop off for a drink or food,breakfast lunch or dinner. It's nice outside sitting next to the river watching the boats go by on a sunny day. They do charge you 50cents to use the loo even if you are a paying customer. Food was fine and plenty of drinks to choose from. Definitely worth a visit.

A nice Irish Pub in a good location. It has two floors so there's plenty of room. I was there when it wasn't busy at all for lunch and pretty chill. I had Irish stew, which was pretty good and my friend had trout that she enjoyed. There's a smoking room on the second floor, which is kind of unique. I'd recommend it for a casual lunch.

Very nice bar, only a request, play songs from spotify app it has many good Irish songs , irish pub song is my favorite.Thank you very much for the beautiful hospitality

I come here often for breakfast - these are substantial and good. Also great for a warm lunch on a cold day - stews are good. I would steer away from burgers and nachos etc. Great atmosphere and I’ve always had great service, which compares well to if not much better than any restaurant in Amsterdam. Never had to pay to use the bathroom. I’ll keep going back.

Great place to grab a beer and unwind. You have the perfect view and some nice beers. Since it's an Irish Pub don't forget to grab a Guiness!

Good and friendly service, good and fresh food. Drinks were okay though I received one that was lukewarm and had to be cooled by the icecubes they added. Small sips it is. 😉The music - after the game on the tv’s was over - was cranked up too loud. We had a hard time talking to each other and that was true not only at our table but mostly anywhere on the upper floor. Come on guys, it’s a pub, not a dancing! It’s important you’re able to talk with people at least on the same table when being at a pub.Prices? They’re a bit above average. Nowhere near as expensive as Leidseplein, but still.. well, you’re in Amsterdam.So yeah, if you can dismiss the few points of improvement, you’ll have a great time at Aran. Based on my current and several earlier visits I’m rating this place 4 out of 5 stars.

Loved the food!!A++ I had the grilled salmon! My husband had the fish and chips!!! Twas all delicious!! But if you ever go to this restaurant, make sure that you are hungry!!! Because they don't have a to-go box!!! You have to eat all your food that you order OR you can wastes your leftovers!! My stepdaughter and son was unable to consume their food that they ordered, they have to leave it because they were full! The location is really great!! You can enjoy the view of the canal with so many tourists on boat ride!

The food here is truly amazing and delicious. Must try for breakfast is Omelette with ham and cheese, ham & cheese with mushroom. For those of you who would like a sandwich which is amazing is the Healthy sandwich which includes ham, cheese,cucumber, tomato & egg, also for the seafood lover a must try is the Smoked Salmon with sorrel-cream sauce. Some of the staff were a bit rude at times and wait time was a bit long but must say it was well worth the wait. This is a place to visit and have a meal whether it's breakfast or dinner.

Loved the atmosphere in this pub the breakfast was huge and not over priced. The staff were really friendly.
