Emerald Downs - Rainier Terrace

Emerald Downs is Awesome, it's a sweet place to visit . There's food there. A restaurant. a casino. Lots of stuff to see . The horse races are way cool . Sometimes there's bands playing live music. Check there schedule to see the different events they have going . I love going to this place . There fireworks show is amazing. Bring your camera to get some cool pictures there. It's lots of fun there.

This is my favorite racetrack to go to! I'm 17 now and I remember when my dad first took me when I was like 8 or 9 and my first race I got to see! I picked a gray horse that was #1 and of course I picked it because of it's number!! And off they went and what do you know the gray horse I choose won!!! I've always remembered that day!! I still enjoy going there when I do! My favorite event there is mothers day when I get to see the baby horse. It's always my favorite event there I look forward too! I love how you can get close to the horses and see them get saddled up and walked out to the track! I also like it whenever they put the gate up against the rails so we can see them load the horses into the gate! I sure love going to the racetrack!!!! - Ellie

They have bands on Saturday nights. Last night was a Santana cover band and they were great! We always have a great time and its free!! Drinks are pricey though so don't forget to pre funk at home to save on the tab!

Very nice track. Only drawback is lack of turf course. Staff was very cordial and the track is well kept. Nice background with MtRanier. Love to watch races here when I can make it to Seattle

Great place. Fun enjoyable atmosphere. I miss the actual people tellers. There are a few left but mostly machines. Where else can you get steak, eggs, hash browns for 3.99 anymore. Great time with cover bands following races also.

I haven't been there but my niece loves to go with her daddy ( who loves to go too). My sister has enjoyed a few banquets and family events there, said she loved it there. My girl works nights and she said the live shows are always fun. Wide variety of bands play and they also have catered events including ice cream socials. All sounds good and they each agree it's worth 5 stars

Excellent family experience! We buy the pack of passes for $50 for me and my wife and the kids get in free. So every Friday through the summer we go and hang out, the kids love watching the horses and playing in the arcade. I like the cheap Friday night Budweisers, and the food selection is always excellent. This is a must try for families. My kids favorite day is the Exotic animal racing, my favorite was the food truck day or possibly the 4th of July get together. All of it was fun and memorable.

I have always enjoyed myself at Emerald Downs the environment is great and so are the people. Can't wait until opening day .

First time to the Downs. It was so much fun. Food was good drinks priced right. The workers were very friendly and had lots to offer. Views are nice and track area clean. Military and veterans are free anytime every day of the year. They have a shuttle bus for the general parking area.
