Right in the heart of Capitol Hill, Elysian provides a fun and relaxed atmosphere where to have a pint and grab a bite. The place itself is welcoming but gets packed in a hurry during peak hours. Having gone during one of those times, I must mention that the wait was fairly short for my party )10-15 minutes) on a Saturday night. The beer is decent and fairly priced and the tap list offers a wide variety of options that should please everybody. The food was typical brewery fare (burgers, fish and chips,...) and was quite enjoyable. The staff was really awesome: very friendly and attentive. I must also mention that this brewery has a family friendly and is family friendly overall. An overall enjoyable experience.

More than just space dust. My flight of darks (Dragonstooth, The Fix, Perseus, and Not a Single Malt) highly exceeded expectations. Broccoli and beer cheese snack was solid. Bartender, friendly. All around excellent.

Food is great. The Pumpkin Spaetzel was a hidden gem! Great beer too!

Gorgeous place upon walking. My waiter came over with a smile fairly quickly, so the stars are for his service and his service ONLY (if it wasn't for him there would be no stars). I ordered the beyond meat burger (came with fries) and a lemonade. The lemonade which I will assume was from a machine tasted like a Gatorade with melted ice... my burger was extremely charred, and the fries had absolutely no seasoning. It was lunch time, but it wasn't busy, so there was no reason for underseasoned food... I just took my L and paid the waiter because he deserved his tip for fast and friendly service... but the food is nothing to write home about... *insert 4 hours later Spongebob narrator voice* After work, went in for beers and the bartender was EXTREMELY RUDE, I would've been better off going behind the bar myself. She was terrible! I tried twice in one day and was snubbed both times. Welp!

Good beer and the wings were good, however Natalie waited for us to get through our beer and food (about an hour) then let us know that we couldn't eat birthday cake at the table(had been out the entire meal). So we had to move our party to the park to finish celebrating the birthday. Pretty cold. Won't be back. Thanks for the beer. P.S there was a 20% gratuity on my bill which wasn't listed anywhere, so beware.

Great beer and fabulous fare. Thought I might try a flight to taste test several, but my server suggested something perfect.

Awesome brewery, great pub! Beers from all three Elysian breweries available here, plus solid food. Highly recommend the Raspy Whisper beer (raspberry chocolate gose like nothing you've ever tasted) and the happy hour food menu is perfect. Burger? $5. Nachos? $5. Brewer Sauce Fries? $5.I knew I enjoyed their beers back at home, but the brewery trip was well worth it.

Great service, food and beers. Thank you to Lindsey and an unknown brewer who took the extra time and care answering our question about Lactose in a specific beer.

Great beers with a good selection. They also have food and a full bar which is great when I want to visit a brewery and my wife wants a cocktail. The capital hill pale ale is awesome and only served there. They also have a great esb. I loved this place and will definitely go again

Just ate lunch. One of the best Burger's I've had in a very long time. Fries were excellent as well.

Underwhelmed, for one of my fav. brewry, I was hoping for better. Positive points: good beers, good sweet potatoes fries, good clam sauce, good service. Negative points: Blend Tofu sandwich even with extra BBQ sauce, Watery Creamy soup , expensive clams for 15 small clams, not enough bread for dipping.

Had the salmon BLT and Glitteris ale... all very delicious!

Service was very slow and some dishes were not as described. 3 hour lunch ordeal and they weren’t busy. Ended up getting 1/2 off as a consolation... but not worth it.

Place is great, they aren’t open until 10:30am on weekends.
