Elmer's Restaurant - Palm Springs

Went for Sunday morning brunch. I had crab omelette with hash browns and biscuit included. The omelette was delicious! The hash browns were under cooked having a crunchy potato feel and taste. The biscuit and butter was great for this southern gal. Hubby had steak and eggs. Everything was cooked perfect except the hash browns. Hubby seasoned and added ketchup to eat. He recommends his perfectly cooked steak. Service was above average. We were seated immediately as a party of 2. Others were waiting. I want to return to enjoy the other food options they have.

The quintessential diner style breakfast/brunch on the south end of town. Elmer’s is a continuously busy stop, so be prepared to spend a little time outside on their beautifully manicured lawn underneath the palms (not a bad place to wait!) Then treat yourself to a jumbo size menu that provides all the fixings you need for a proper home style meal. The staff are the absolute friendliest people. They are always making me smile and filling up my coffee mug! Love Elmer’s and you should too.

They have this German pancake they are famous for (at least in Palm Springs). It fills the plate so your eggs and bacon come on a separate plate. Breakfast is served all day and I recommend you give it a try at least once. Service is good but not great. Once we got our orders we didn't see our server for a while and had to go ask for syrup and the check. If not for the food I might have rated it only 3 stars.

Cafe style restaurant with a palethara of items on their menu from breakfast to dinner. All is made fresh and typically available. The staff was helpful and checked back often. If you're in the mood for American fare make a quick stop by this place. This place is known for waiting lines on weekends.

Best breakfast restaurant I've been to in a long long time! Sure, there are other good ones, but this one on a diner's standard, is out of the park! I love seafood and had the crab omelette and it wowed me! Fresh tasty chunky crab meat extremely well stuffed inside the omelette, so delicious. I was so happy since the last time I ordered a crab omelette that was suppose to be gourmet, had 1 teaspoon of crab topping on the omelette. That was a joke, gourmet or not. So compared that to Elmer's... He wins big time :)

We arrived @10:45 on a busy Sunday morning and only waited about 10 minutes for a table. Our server was friendly and very helpful. He brought the kids’ pancakes out first and was even thoughtful enough to ask me if he should bring them syrup without my kids hearing the question. Because c’mon, my kids never turn down sugar.We had the enormous German pancake, chocolate chip dollar pancakes, and some other breakfast items that I didn’t get a picture of because they were already being devoured.Good food, great service and we will definitely return.

Excellent service, very friendly staff. Quick and reasonably priced. Food quality was excellent. The omelettes were made to perfection. Large portions and great taste!We would recommend. We’ll be returning.

The German Pancake! It’s very unique and you can’t really get it anywhere else. They bake it in the oven and it rises up, kind of like a Calabash bowl. It’s really light and fluffy and has butter, lemon, and powdered sugar. Heaven!All the staff are very nice and easy parking!#iheartelmers #breakfast

The German Pancake is AMAZING. This place is always busy but so worth the wait. The service was top notch even though it was packed. Five stars for sure.

Never been to an Elmer's. Was recommended by hotel staff. Definitely will be back. This is a chain out west. I got cinnamon pancakes which were good and the breakfast portions were huge. Nice staff as well.

The beef here is fabulous. Didn’t need any of the sauces it was so full of flavor. We were a large group and so ordered some of the biggest ones to share. Only bones were left. Definitely worth trying.

Any time we are in Palm Springs we always stop here. You can get breakfast, lunch or dinner at any time their open. I really enjoy their German pancakes. They also have a kids menu also which is great for the Little ones. I would definitely recommend this place if you're anywhere near Palm Springs. Service is always excellent and the food is always wonderful.

Came in a little skeptical, even after all the wonderful reviews, since it’s a chain. But I shouldn’t have been so skeptical, because Elmers was delicious. We were seated in less than 15 minutes even though it was packed on a Sunday for brunch. We ordered the German pancake as pictured and enjoyed it thoroughly. We also ordered the omelette with the stuffed hash browns (I highly recommend those stuffed hash browns).

Very tasty breakfast. Enjoyable staff that were super fast and attentive. Food was flavorful and hot! Will be back the next time I'm in Palm Springs. It met the hype!

They weren't lying when they said it was the best breakfast in Palm Springs! Lines can be long but absolutely worth the wait - my secret is call 10 minutes before you get there and get on the wait list. Coffee is delicious and everything we ate was great! Highly recommend the omelets with a side of the butter biscuits! You won't be disappointed! Not to mention the views are beyond amazing!
