Hadn't been there in over 3 years when I was told no substitutions allowed on omelet... I wanted sliced tomato instead of the home fries. BUT, today I met a dear friend there. I ordered the $9.95 lunch special, mashed potatoes, stuffed peppers and cane with choice of soup. I chose chicken and rice which was chock full of chicken breast and rice. Found the soup a bit greasy but not bad. The stuffed pepper was delicious... grimming with ground beef and rice mixture and plentiful creamy tomato sauce... was wonderful. The potatoes were starchy vs fluffy... but when mixed with the sauce and ground beef, still good. Overall, I can't wait to go. Ack and try another lunch special.
