Elmas Turkish and Mediterranean Cuisine Restaurant

A quaint Turkish BYOB, Elmas went beyond expectations with their assortment of dips and sauces to start and finishing out with delicious kabobs. I recommend this place for a date, dinner out with the family, and lunch with coworkers.

Elmas Turkish and Mediterranean Cuisine is a must go while you're near or in Parsippany NJ. The food is well prepared and delicious everytime,even with pickup or takeout!! Great service and menu selection.

Hands down, the best Turkish restaurant in the area. Went there for lunch today and couldn't be more happy! Both the food and the service was excellent. Our server, Timur was very friendly and explained everything so well. I am known in my office for informing people about new restaurants in the area, and will definitely tell all my colleagues and friends about Elmas. Will surely go here again, and again and again....!

This place was absolutely awesome. We’ve frequented a lot of Turkish places in the area and this a very welcome new addition. This was the first time we brought our 6 month old out to lunch with us and they really made us feel at home. Aykut and the rest of the staff were absolutely awesome and welcoming. The food was absolutely stellar, I highly recommend the Shepard Salad, Iskendar, and of course the Kunefe (make sure to order this once your entree had arrived since it takes about 15 minutes to make) to top it all off! The place is beautiful, if you’re looking for delicious Turkish food, look no further than Elmas!

By far the best Mediterranean food I've had. The kebabs were tender, succulent and fresh. The meat wasn't frozen like some other places and the salad and rice was packed with flavour. The service was prompt, and the staff were very friendly. Definitely going back to this place again.

Went for a quick business dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is pretty simple but clean and comfortable, staff was very attentive and friendly, the owner even came out to check on us. Food was fresh and flavorful and pretty reasonably priced so all in all, a good find for a quick bite or a casual meeting.

Great place! Food is on point and service is very friendly. I am thinking of having a banquet party there very soon. Prices are very reasonable and portions are great. Please come here and experience it yourself. This place is starting up and deserves to thrive in this up and coming neighborhood. Easily best Turkish food in NJ, keep it up!

Wow the food!! Everything we ordered was fresh, delicious and great portions even for lunch time. We were passing on our way from the airport and were very happy to find this gem. Our waiter was a bit overwhelmed with the workload but even though he made a few mistakes he was very helpful and cordial. The owner let us know that they were understaffed and offer her apologies. Overall we loved it and we will be happy to come back.

Excellent food! I heard of Elmas from a group of friends who stumbled upon the place, and they set the expectations for the restaurant very high, so I just needed to see what all the commotion was about! I went there to see for myself and everything was SPECTACULAR. It was not too casual or too fancy, the hospitality was excellent, and was so cozy. And I can’t forget about the authenticity and excellence of the food. I’ve never had Turkish food before and now it’s my new favorite type of cuisine. I love this place so much and am definitely coming back.

What a great place! Food was awesome, stellar service in a simple Turkish dining room. Everything is made fresh. None of their meat is frozen so it is cooked to perfection. Juicy and tender. High quality food at a reasonable price. Please give it a try if in the area. Joselyn Uglione and I had an awesome Valentine's day dinner there. It's BYOB too!

This place is a local gem. Food is excellent. Service is outstanding. Owners are friendly and so was our waiter. The bread was freshly baked. It had a crunchy/toasty exterior but soft inside. Perfect to dip in the babbaganoush and hummus. The kabobs are amazing. My wife had the chicken kabob and I had the combination lamb platter. The restaurant is clean. We really enjoyed our dining experience. We will definitely go back, and we highly recommend this place.

Went with some friends and was really impressed with this place. Never had Mediterranean style food. This was awesome and well done. Right in the same plaza as Tandoori Flames and has 2 section's. One for a quieter restaurant experience and the other for a buffet style with music and we had some entertainment. A belly dancer who did a very good job. Like Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine please try Elmas out. The owners are friendly and the staff is very good. I like Indian food, Afghan style as well, but now have another favorite. I'm coming back to this place and it's also BYOB.

Firstly, the food was AMAZING! The soup and salads came out quickly and were freshly made. The bread was constantly being refilled with a warm replacement. The appetizer tray with a various selection of Mediterranean spreads was tasty and provided a good amount of each to be left satisfied! The main meals, a bit of each kind of meat (chicken, lamb, beef) were beyond tasty! The chicken, as well as the lamb chops, were tender and full of flavor. And, the shawarma was spiced to perfection! Secondly, the service was quick and efficient. My glass was never empty and the paying process was easy. The staff is very kind and helpful. I highly recommend this place and would come back again with family and friends!

Great service, excellent food, loved the decor and the staff was very welcoming and helpful!! Need I say more. I was looking for some authentic middle Eastern food and I left there immensely satisfied. Highly recommend it if you are looking for a great dining experience with friends and/or family. I will definitely be going back there again and again.

Came with a group of 10 with no reservation and were immediately seated. Ordered from the lunch menu, food and service was amazing. Food did not take long at all and was delicious. Service was great, we were checked on several times and drank complimentary tea after lunch. Highly recommend!
