Elm Street Oyster House

This restaurant had, seriously, the best cheese grits I have ever eaten in my life. Salad with goat cheese and pear & pine nuts! Yummm!

Food and service were good. Felt like I was in a casual French bistro.

Food was very tasty. Service okay. Waiter checked back with us only when we were done. No black pepper on table. No martini menu. Mostly beer and wine. Small & cozy atmosphere.

Small, cozy place with delicious food. Took my very picky mother there for Mother's Day brunch and she loved it. I suggest a reservation on busy days.

Always great service. Expensive, but you know that before getting in, and the best risotto I've ever tried.

This place is small and quaint not fancy. The food is very good. The service is excellent. It is a bit pricey for the fare. They don't have whole belly clams on the menu, but they deep fried up some little necks for me. Very tasty. Nice beer selection and wine list and of course a great bar also. Signature clam chowder was good but not really clam chowder...I am a clam chowder fanatic. It is impossible to get a real milky creamy chowder, anywhere, short of going to Massachusetts. Most places, over spice and try to create their own versions and stray from the traditional creamy, scalded milk, cream, clam juice and potato recipe with chunks of top neck clams. A very well run establishment. Thumbs up!

Super lovely place. On the pricey side but worth it if you're willing to spend a bit. I had a seafood ravioli and it was very good.

last night was our first time we visited this excellent restaurant. But It is obviously not the last. We had a good time with the generous service, with the magnificent meal and fine drinks and with the friendly price. We will absolutely return there in a short time.

Food is great... I typically have felt a bit rushed while eating here, even on a Sunday afternoon. Pacing of food coming out needs work. However, food/drinks are good. This would be a 4.5 if dining was paced better.

Very disappointed after reading the other reviews. I ordered the ravioli with shrimp. The ravioli tasted like it was boiled in fish water... gross....The "boys" loved the oysters, but said everything else was "OK, not great".

Food were fabulous and fresh, its quiet place for relax weekend to enjoy good quality meal. Very local place which none of tourist will go.
