Elly's Pancake House

Elly's on Milwaukee has become our go-to place for family breakfasts when we can all find the time to get together. The location is perfect as a halfway point between those of us in the suburbs and those in the city. Great coffee, great service, and outstanding breakfast options make Elly's perfect for my family!!!

They have a nice variety of food on the menu. The food is delicious. The service is great. I especially love Ray. He is truly a ray of sunshine first thing in the morning.

The food is pretty good except for the jelly, I don't care for that. I had an ole` skillet which was good and plenty of food. This place is always crowded. Expect to wait 30 minutes on average.

My wife and I came in for breakfast on a weekday. Staff was super attentive and friendly. We both ordered the Southwest omelette without jalapenos and a side of pancakes. The omelette was tasty, my wife said it didnt feel like an omelette because it had too many ingredients. The pancakes were really good. Crispy and fluffy, perfectly made. Will be visiting this location again!

I'm in love with this place. The food was amazing & the service was excellent as well. I highly recommend it for breakfast or brunch.

Enjoyed a huge breakfast skillet as suggested by my server, Fabian. Service was excellent, and the food was hot and delicious. Pancakes here are a MUST TRY!!! (Banana Nutella) The manager on duty, Sonja, seated my mother in law immediately (no wait, what a plus!) and was very informative and kind throughout our entire experience! Will be returning to try the lunch!

Elly's is wheelchair accessible and serve freshly squeezed orange juice! The waiters are very friendly and greet you at the door. :-)

Amazing food. Parking lot on the side. Clean enough to brunch and our waiter was great!

Good food. Great portions and reasonably priced. There are 'lighter fare' options available too. I had the Elly Platter made up of egg whites, spinach, mushrooms with sliced tomatoes and an English Muffin. There are many other options from classic pancakes to French toast and a bakery attached. I really enjoyed my meal here. Go, if you can!

If your looking for a good breakfast place, this should be one to try! I can't go anywhere else because I don't know if the quality is going to be as good as Elly's! Service is great, staff is friendly and their food is even better! Love the skirt steak and eggs! Pricey but delish and can def be for 2.

One of my favorite breakfast places, good service and great food, dine-in or carry out, you don't ever really need to wait too long. Their skillets and omelets are great and have quite a bit to dig into, love their generous plating! I come here sometimes twice a month.

Would have gotten 5 stars definitely from me.It was my 10 year old daughter and myself that went for breakfast. We ordered at same time and her food(Acai bowl)did not come out for 10-15 minutes after mine. They did have the courtesy to at least take it off the bill without us having to even question . For that I will say I'd definitely come back for another shot. The food is really great and staff is friendly.

This is a wonderful restaurant. They do really creative and delicious things with pancakes. Always clean and in my experience, quick.

Large, very open restaurant with a great menu. Staff was friendly. Soup was delicious. Do not order a bowl unless it's all you're going to eat, or you haven't eaten in months. They are massive, see picture. That's a large soup spoon in that bowl. Had cream of broccoli, and loved it. Ordered the Shroomed omelette (wild mushrooms, spinach and swiss cheese). It was a bit below temperature, pretty wet, and way too heavy on the swiss (and I love cheese). Asked for a biscuit (at an up charge), for my bread choice. Was asked if I wanted gravy, I was tempted, but asked for "a little gravy". My biscuits came out swimming. Gravy had taste, bit a bit flour-y. Am going to give it a second chance. Next time, gonna get a sandwich.

I liked my food but my friend didn't. We had a French toast at the end and we didn't like the quality of it. Something just wasn't right. Aslo, my fries didn't look and taste fresh...
