Service was quick, food was served in a timely manner. Good Margaritas for good prices. Over all experience was great!

Great place in Sanford Florida for Mexican food. It is really good! Our table server seemed a little off the night we stopped in but did OK. I recommend if you are hungry for Mexican

Food is amazing. Wait staff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend them. They have the best mexican food around. Have been several tomes and the food is always great.

Food here is excellent. Authentic Mexican is hard to come by in this area, and although I can't say this is 100% authentic Mexican, it's close enough and tastes delicious. Most of the staff speaks Spanish, for those that prefer to order that way. Atmosphere is nice, and there was a Mariachi band playing on Sunday.

I freaking love this place. Great service. Great prices and the food is amazing! Love this place! You’re lunch specials keep me sane on the busy/stressful work weeks. I highly recommend this place for the lunch specials or for dinner.

Delicious and wholesome Mexican food served quickly by very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely decoration and atmosphere, and while I was there there was a man playing the harp and singing, which was very cool!

This is not your run-of-the-mill Tex-Mex restaurant!!!My boyfriend and I have been here four times now. There’s a great atmosphere inside but we usually choose to sit outside as they have a nice seating area.The menu has so many great choices. Every dish I’ve had is full of flavor and expertly prepared. This place is my new staple and when friends come to town, this is where I will be taking them. It’s been a great experience every time.P.S.I highly recommend the hibiscus margarita and salmon in coconut sauce!

Cute little place...very artistic vibe. Menu had some different takes on classic Mexican recipes. Staff was very nice. Busy on a Saturday evening. I will say that even though the food was delicious, 2 fish dishes our table ordered needed to be cooked a little longer. I think the kitchen was trying to hard to get entrees out quickly.

Authentic Mexican food, great location and atmosphere in the hippest section of Sanford. The food was delicious, well presented and the staff was friendly, warm and welcoming. The Sangria was right up my alley. El Zocalo is a winner. Update: this place gets better atnd better. Went back a second time in August and my husband wanted something that they don't have in the menu. The server took the order and said if you don't like it, it's fine you can order something else. Tremendous service. And the food item came out beyond expectations. We just love this place!

Absolutely delicious food! and several items on the menu are actually enough for two, like the molcajete and Fajitas. The menu contains a lot of standard fare Mexican food as well as great specialties so something for all. The restaurant itself has two main sections; one up front with a few tables where you can see the food being prepared and another to the left side. It is a nice atmosphere and comfortable but the side area echos a lot a d can get a bit noisy when crowded. If you want great Mexican food this is the place to go.

My love and I usually enjoy going to a place called Chuy’s for amazing Mexican food- but it’s a bit of a drive. We wanted to stay local so we decided to try El Zocalo. We sat outside because we brought our dog with us and we also wanted to practice social distancing. The server was in a mask and gloves- and was very attentive. He provided us with a paper menu and plastic silverware.I got the taco salad and my boyfriend got the steak burrito. Everything was delicious. We were close to the Sanford Brewing Company and could hear their live music. All and all this will definitely be our new go to spot for authentic Mexican food.

El Zocalo is the actual best. The food is always delicious. They make legit margaritas, no lame premixes here. Service is always wonderful too.

Great food and great service. We travel from Orlando for the steak it's delicious.

This restaurant is my favorite. I eat in plenty of restaurants but here I keep coming back again and again. The stuff is very attentive and the cooking they offer is so tasty. I would always prefer to have a nice dinner in this restaurant. I highly recommend this place.

First time here. Ordered a taco salad which was delicious. Although my order was to go, the restaurant was very inviting and I will certainly be back to dine in.
