El Warike

Excellent food and staff. We had "Pescado A lo Macho" a cousin to a bass fish and although it might not look appetizing, it was the best prepared fish I've had in FL. We finished off with the "Alfajores" a cookie with what I believe to be dulce de leche filling, so good I had to get one to-go. Skip the soda and get their house prepared "Chicha morada" a drink that's made out of purple corn, super refreshing. We will drive the 75 miles to revisit as this is our current favorite restaurant.

Love the sauce with the Incan corn. Pescado sudado was the lunch special on Tuesday. Tasty steamed fish in a flavorful sauce. Yummy. And there's a cup of chicken soup that came with the special.

Great little restaurant, with delicious food.

Churrasco steak was great highly recommend. Great friendly service.

El Warike is a place where we always comeback to! Food is consistently very good. Family like atmosphere, fantastic Sangria, and a lot of excellent choices for a small place! Didn’t have a dish I wouldn’t like. Highly recommend to others!

Very good Peruvian food with nice service.. Sorry I ordered tuna dish. Covered in a sauce. Try the grilled Covina instead..also skip their drink. Chichia Mirada. Horrible..I also don t. like a restaurant that add the tip to the bill without telling me. Oh it's on the bill but you have to read the entire bill to see it. 18% not sure I will return

Cannot judge this book by its cover. Delicious food in a comfortable, small store front restaurant. Great prices as well. I had the chicken and shrimp and it’s was amazing. Also tried the Inca Cola and it was so refreshing. Definitely heading back here more often. Much better than the well known and overpriced Selva Grill in downtown Sarasota. This place makes me want to search out other small restaurant gems.

By far my favorite Peruvian food in manatee.. it's a small place but well worth it.. The flavors melt in your mouth.. a must try..

I was excited to check this place out, especially with all the positive reviews. Unfortunately I did not have the same experience. First off the place wasn't crowded. We placed our orders. Only one appetizer came out . We asked what happened and said she forgot. I was fine...no big deal...then a considerable amount of time passed. We asked again. Still no second appetizer. We asked again. Because the man sitting next to us was now eating the appetizer we ordered and we were there 30 minutes before him. Horrible experience...appetizer was nothing spectacular either. Never going back.

First time there it certainly won't be the last what wonderful food what wonderful people that run the place very accommodating to people who didn't know what they were doing. Lol. Delicious!
