Very nice food. The combination of popcorn and creamy corn sauce is amazing.

I found the food to be very unique in Leiden and it was very nice. We had the fish gumbo and shrimp curry and they were both very good and flavourful. The kidney beans were also a really great side. I'd say definitely do as the helpful waiter advised us to, treat this like tapas and get a selection of dishes if you're in for a good feed! Otherwise you may go a little hungry. It'll be a small portion of you only get one main per person. I'd definitely visit, lovely experience!

If you are jonesing for some Southern American food, this is the place for you. The mac and cheese is to die for, and the ribs are excellent. Book ahead on the weekend nights.

I went to Delasoul for a very pleasant evening with colleagues. The personnel has been nice the whole time. Main course hasn't been any special, a little numb. However, dessert was incredible. Wouldn't suggest to go for a lunch, but I recommend to come for a drink or coffee with cake

I love Delasoul. Great music, food and location.The toilets are upstairs though, so it's not great if you have mobility issues.

Nice restaurant near the historical Mospoort. Food is good and with the Cajun and Tex-Mex influences it differs from the food served at so many other restaurants in Leiden. Barfood, with daily specials, and cocktails are also available. Large terrace during the warmer days.

The vegetarian lasagna was adorable ！

So glad I found this! The crab gumbo I just had exceeded all expectations. I will definitely be ordering from this place again.

Good food. Good service

This is a nice restaurant behind the Morspoort or Entrance gate to the city of Leiden. Cozy atmosphere, nice decoration and has a lot of yummy foods.You can sit outside in terrace to feel the fresh air and the cold wind.or inside with warm air and feel at home.When I was eating there, some of the food served small but look very nice on the plate. I ordered chips, assorted fried seafood, salads, soups and some others. They tasted "swear" so good, than for the drink I asked for Glühwein a very nice hot wine that boiled in the cormorant mixed with cinnamon, sugar and clove plus orange. This is not the local drink but they can made it like the original one from Germany/Austria. Well it was really a nice experience to dine in this restaurant.

Nice terrace to sit in the summer. The food is also good. I had the chicken salad with bacon and it was delicious.

Not expensive, but small portions. Ribs are so good.
