Tucked inside a Loading station, a small joint with very few seatings,The reviews are actually good but unfortunately i was not very much satisfied with the food, I got the beef stew, the beef was hard and had just 3 pieces and had no much flavor profile.next time I would try their chicken stew which I heard is good.

Good deal for Midtown ($7.50). Spicy sauce extremely spicy, but delicious. Can't wait to go back for the other items.

Unbeatable price, solid food and the place itself is awesome. Had Pollo with rice. Hole in the wall. Fun factor guaranteed

Delicious food for the value. The pernil was flavorful and cooked to perfection. This is a hidden gem if you want to grab a quick lunch under $10. You only select the protein, the rest of the plate is rice, beans, and lettuce.

The pernil was tasty and moist but a little less salty than I usually prefer. I love when pork packs a punch but I can’t expect every restaurant to have the exact same recipe. The beans were great and the rice was incredibly fluffy. If you can’t handle heat stay away from their complementary hot sauce available at the tables. Food was reasonably priced especially for the neighborhood however, I guess somewhat predictably, the portion sizes were on the small side. If you bring your appetite you just might need to get second lunch.

Delicious. Packed with flavor. I got the pernil this time. Flavorful and moist. Fast and friendly service. Not many places to sit, but it’s called a “lunch counter” for a reason. Portion sizes have been inconsistent, but everything is always cooked perfectly. THE HOT SAUCE IS ACTUALLY VERY HOT!Affordable too!

SIX out of five stars. Incredible pork, some of the best beans I’ve had in my adult life. If you’re in the Garment District and you’re even slightly hungry, then do yourself a solid, stop by an ATM (they’re cash only), and given them a visit. Don’t be intimidated by the metal doors off the street, just walk in and enjoy.
