El Rocoto

Best Peruvian food I've tried in the US. It's authentic and delicious. The servings are larger than most other Peruvian restaurants, but the prices are about the same. They were quick to seat and serve us. Very friendly staff. I will revisit my next time I'm in the area.

Really good lomo Saltado, service was a little slow, but friendly staff.

Delicious. We had arroz con mariscos and arroz con pollo. They also have yucca fruits and a purple corn drink that was good.

Generally very good service, friendly staff and flavored germane to Reflect Peru’s internationally famous and delightful cuisine.

I've heard of this Peruvian restaurant for awhIle now but have not had a chance to go.Celebrating my bday dinner here was a blast! The bread, the calamari, their lomo Saltado and their sauce was delicious! I am definitely going back to this place. There's other dishes I want to try. Can't wait to go back.

I loved the food here. I been there one time but it was good enough to make me come back...I recommend you this restaurant, if you want hight quality food and good service.

¡Deliciosa comida peruana! Delicious Peruvian food. Great ambience and nice abd attentive staff. We started with the octopus with corn, so fresh, amazing flavor and tenderness. The calamari was crispy and flavorful.The complimentary bolillo bread with 2 types of salsa to dip an amazing gesture and very good.The Saltado de mariscos, different presentation what I had tried in another Peruvian restaurant but really good. Generous amount of food for sure! Highly recommended 👍😀

El Rocoto is our favorite Peruvian restaurant in the local area. We ordered our favorites, Aji de Gallina and Pescado a lo Macho (I asked for it without shrimp this time). I also ordered a new dish to try, Tallarin verde (spaghetti with pesto) with Papa Huancaina (yellow mild chile sauce, served cold).The dishes were all amazing and did not disapppoint. The new Huancaina sauce was mild and flavorful and the it only took a minute to understand the contrast between hot and cold served on the same plate with the new dish. El Rocoto will always be my first choice in Peruvian dishes! Enjoy!

My family’s favorite peruvian restaurant.Their food is authentic, flavorful and the dishes are well served.Love their seafood rice, lomo saltado and causa; every bite is just full of flavor. Great ambience, friendly and helpful employees; friendly atmosphere and excellent location next to the Cerritos mall.I truly recommend it you will not regret visiting El Rocoto.

Service is great. Lots of parking and easy to find. You start your meal with rolls, butter, and 2 kinds of hot sauce. I usually get the steak saltado(think that's how you spell it) but decided to try something else today. Ribeye steak, plantains, fries, rice, egg, and a house salad. Pretty awesome!!! I don't mind paying a higher price when the food is plentiful. Our waitress rocked!!!
