Authentic Guatemalan food. They make tortillas with real imported blue corn, not the gmo garbage.

Squuueee! My wife,Jeanne, found out about a Guatemala restaurant right here in Austin 😊So if course we had to try out!Having just spent 10 days in Guatemala I can attest to the absolute authenticity of all the dishes we tried. From the fried plantains to the chicken and herb stuffed chuchitos... From the pepian to the creamy chicken... And the black corn tortillas and those oh so heavenly black beans!!? One could almost swoon! â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸

My husband is from Guatemala, and finally he took me to experience authentic Guatemalan food. The place was quaint, not so eye appealing, but the food was way better than expected. I had a rice tamal and shared fried plantains, as an appetizer. I thought they were better than othere places I've tried plantains at. The sauces that comes with some of the plates really harmonize with the food . Would definitely go there again, to try something different.

I'm sure this restaurant is great if you're looking for Guatemalan food. For someone on a low fat weight loss diet, I was disappointed. Their vegetarian meals ( my go to meal if I can't find anything else) were not available or deep fried. They didn't even have a grilled chicken breast entree. I'll take Guatemalan food off my list.

Good service and pretty authentic flavors but overpriced in my opinion.

Lovely food. Lovely people. This was our first time here, so we sampled lots of goodies: chicken tamales with a light tomato salsa, fried plantains, pork agodobada, steak churrasco...all of it was delicious! We will go back and bring friends.
