Great lunch spot! Good, cheap good that comes out quickly. The front of the restaurant is small, but there is a much larger seating area in the back with a bar.

The front entrance was not that impressive, but the dining area is nice and open. The food and service were great, nice portions, fresh salsa, my guests were happy.

Amazing authentic mexican fare can be found nearly anywhere in New York but the tacos, gauc & drinks at El Ranchito are nothing short of extraordinary! It's the perfect spot for a quiet lunch and can be made even better with great deals on Margaritas. The tacos are hearty and full of flavor from the cilantro & onion pico and copious options of hot sauce at the ready. Another hidden gem unknown to tourists but loved by the local workers who appreciate great service & amazing fresh food!

I feel bad to write poorly about this restaurant because the staff was so friendly and the service was fast, though we were practically the only ones in the restaurant. How should I put this without sounding rude? The food was so bad, I'm almost dry heaving at this moment, reliving the memories of eating the food. My dear fellow New Yorkers I can't go on anymore.
