Good food and service. Even though they were busy, the wait wasnt long for a table. Reasonable prices. Complementary queso. Stop in and try one of the best mexican restaurants in Lee's Summit.

Good food, large portions, chip bowl for the table was large, great decor. Great wait staff, they were not busy in mid afternoon and didn't rush us so we could catch up with friends that we had met. Would go back when in that part of the city. 🐎😉🐎

We’ve loved El Potro for so long. A restaurant that greets you with free queso? You win my heart right there! Always great service. The restaurant is huge so there is hardly ever a wait. Food is always awesome. I want to give a shout out specifically related to operations during COVID-19. The staff has been amazing and the quality of the food is still top notch! The restaurant is so clean, all the staff members are wearing masks, and they have a smooth curbside program. I love that they are keeping as many people working as possible. They also took this time to upgrade the flooring which looks great. Can’t wait to dine in again - see you soon El Potro!

Today was our first visit to El.Potro at the recommendation of a coworker. We have a new favorite Mexican restaurant. Great food, large portions and reasonable prices!

Great food all around. Came out pretty quick!

One of the places that when I see it, I think, need to try that. I waited way too long! Salsa was good, queso was great, server was a good guy! The fish taco lunch portion was more than enough, and my wife's tamale was great! looking forward to coming here many more times, and sitting on that patio! Well done!

I am in love with this place, such a wonderful atmosphere, never have I had to wait to be seated, the staff is always nice, and their food is amazing. My only wish is that they had more location then 4 location in Missouri. I highly recommend if you ever have a chance to eat here, you will not be disappointed.

Every time I have been here, their food had been fantastic. This time was especially great. Our waiter hit it out of the park. He was top notch and really nice and he gave my one year old a balloon. The balloon made my son's day. If you are in the area, stop and eat at this place. You will not be disappointed.

The food was okay. Nothing stuck out about it. The waiter was fast and got they got the food out in a good amount of time. Their drinks are good!

I would like to order takeout but DO NOT Want GRUBHUB so if you ever offer an alternative let me know.

Yummy food! Good environment! Bit of a drive but very good food. Had some good salsa options if you need some spice in your life. Friendly wait staff. Really nicely decorated.

Tacos are great everytime. Never had a meal here that I didn't enjoy.

I go with my wife to this lovely spot a lot! This is my favorite place to dine. I go to this spot regularly. The meals are of high quality, the workers are courteous and the prices are reasonable. I enjoy eating in this spot to have a nice supper.
