Clean roomy environment with tables, booths and small bar. Big menu but have only been to El Nopal twice at two different locations. Average food, reasonable prices.

Great food! Ordered fajitas: wife had enchiladas. 😋 delicious. Clean establishment. Would rate higher but server was very rude.while ordering I asked why dinners didn't come with rice & beans. Lived in Chicago till recently. At all Mex restraints u get rice & beans. Lol he told me we are not in Chicago!!! Then took my dinner away before I was finished! Overall still happy.

Delicious, authentic Mexican food in a clean and friendly atmosphere! Huge portions at very reasonable prices please your appetite and your wallet. Excellent service and friendly staff make this our favorite restaurant!

Excellent food and service. Much better than the El Tarasco across the street which usually smells of stale cigarettes from their smoking section. This El Nopal is definitely the best Mexican dining experience in Shepherdsville.
