Hands down, THE BEST authentic Mexican food near highlands ranch. Everything from seasoning, to cuts of meat, to the horchata was perfect. The service was pretty good, though the server seemed new to serving.Prices were good, though the aguas frescas are a bit pricey. The one thing that could really improve guest experience is if they used hot plates. Most dishes that come with beans and rice are served on a very hot dish to keep the food warm. I'd really like that. I will definitely be returning!!!!!!!

I had tried to hit up a breakfast food truck in downtown Littleton that was supposed to be open early, but they changed their hours to 11am. I decided to try the recently opened El Lucero in Woodlawn, and showed up right when they opened at 9am. I ordered a breakfast burrito to go, which they handmade fairly quickly while I waited. It was excellent - I will return!
