Awful experience. Extremely overpriced, weak margaritas, frustrating service. Paid $12 for a small bowl of guac and additional chips were extra , had to return my margarita because it tasted awful.

Oh man, if you are looking for the best Mexican food and more importantly the best margaritas then this is the place for you. The mole tacos are so freaking good... Definitely the best mole in town. The margaritas are so delicious and definitely makes you feel like you're in Puerto penasco or cancun. Must stop place in Chicago

Wow, best guacamole and chips I have ever had.I got the super burrito with the steak and it was incredibly good the first bite I had into it I had it was just mouth-watering and the best steak burrito I've ever tried ever it's incredibly good and you have to try it.The margaritas are incredible and the options on the menu is incredible of how many there are just one Margarita was enough for me and I had two more and they are big glasses too so it's worth it!Great service and friendly people there it's a must go to place if you're on vacation visiting you don't native to Chicago with whatever you know it you got to go to El JardinBest Mexican restaurant in all of Chicago, no doubt you got to try it visit El Jardin!!!

I visit this great restaurant quite often! This is my favorite spot to eat. I visit this spot many times. The food is just great, the workers are polite and the charge is affordable. I enjoy eating in this restaurant over a nice dinner.

Look, the food is not that bad but I’ve had better for cheaper. The biggest downside of this restaurant is the service. The waiters will bring you the wrong orders and then charge you for it even doe you tell them that’s not what you ordered. After this happens plenty of times over and over they will have the audacity to complain about your tip. At the end of the day the service was bad enough to the point where I won’t go ever again.

Beautiful setting, super nice people and DELICIOUS food!!! Very flavorful and very good prices (for Chicago, at least) my husband and I ate here on Friday and it’s now Sunday and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about their food 😂 those tacos get an A+ as well as the service!!

Awful food awful serviceTheir chicken soup was so bad that I couldn't even eat one spoon. Left it completely intact. Then they brought me some else check, almost 90 bucks for my one taco entree and soup.. seriously???? They should be shut down.

This place is divided into a number of varies seating areas, including dining rooms, a bar, and a garden.The margaritas all seem to be made with lemon juice rather than lime, which is odd; I needed to order a shot of Cointreau to restore the balance.The appetizers were the best part of our meal. We ordered the nachos without the beans. As described, they can with exactly seven large tortilla chips! They also come with a dab of guacamole, so we really didn't need the extra order of guacamole, but it was good. The entrees were less exciting. Chicken enchiladas had a rather odd flavor, and the contents seemed to be ground up. Chilaquiles were also unusual, in that instead of being topped with a fried egg there was a scrambled egg mixed in; the chile verde sauce was good, though.Service was not particularly attentive considering we were the only table seated for Thursday lunch.
