This is one of our favorite spots to walk in, and sit at the bar. The staff has started to welcome us like old friends. The bartenders can actually answer questions about tequilas and liquors. They make your margarita IN FRONT OF YOU and they are delicious. We love salsa, and they have some of the best salsa we have come across. Highly recommend this restaurant. ALL OTHER MEXICAN RESTAURANTS MAKE MARGARITAS BY THE GALLON AND YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DRINKING...

Great customer service with our server.very very efficent. Explained everything and was always checking on us. Very quick and he made us feel pampered.

We always come to el Carrizo's for lunch. Never disappointed. Food is delicious and made to order. Margaritas are terrific. The staff is awesome & very attentive. I would definitely recommend this establishment to the masses!

Wonderful atmosphere, service and food! Jose' always takes great care of us and has a blue drink waiting! There's a large selection of authentic Mexican cuisine for every appetite and plenty of seating. It's always a pleasure to dine there!

Chiles toreados with guacamole are the absolute best. It gets super full, so go early. Nice place ran by very nice people.

I'm in town for work and was craving Mexican food. While this place is definitely Tex Mex, it was good. I got in and out in 30 minutes. I had the Chile Rellenos, chips & salsa, and cheese dip. Good hot food that came out fast and good quick service. Awesome experience considering how busy they were and with one server. I came at around 2:00, so I'm sure they had cut servers after the lunch rush.

We have been here multiple times and each visit the food has been just as amazing. We have tried most of the meals and they are all delicious if you enjoy the not so boring western meals we have in NZ. What a find! We loved this so much- the hosts were friendly and welcoming and the food was full of fresh flavours and local wine was spot-on.

My stop here was for dinner with a group of 10. Groups can sometimes create a challenge when prepping and serving food to everyone at the same time. We all enjoyed a delicious dinner which was hot and fresh. Our server was very gracious, but seemed a little distracted. The restaurant didn't seem overly busy, so I"m not sure why. We were checked on a number of times, but the server seemed to dash away more quickly than we could answer. Overall it was a good experience. The food was very good and the portions were sizeable. I'm not sure it was good enough for a return trip. I'd like to try some of the other nearby Mexican restaurants, but several were closed as early as 9pm on the night of our visit.
