El Caporal Mexican Restaurant

It was mediocre at best, carne asada wasn't the right cut and was extremely chewy. Cook undercooked eggs then extremely over cooks them after being asked to redo them. There are better places in bend for mexican food.

Sustenance was adequate, there was a table to eat at.

Great food and service!

The family and i used to love coming to this place, the food is great but we stopped going because every time we go and have either lunch or dinner our table would get charged gratitude and it was almost 20%. At times it would only be 2 or 4 of us. I understood that the restaurant business charges a gratitude when you have big parties. Im not sure if this is breaking the rules or if they can actually do that, but i stopped going.

The food was good and well presented. The service was just okay, but the overall atmosphere seemed authentic and lively. I had to reduce the rating to three stars, for as we departed the staff was indifferent and borderline rude.

Incredible & friendly service. Best Mexican food I’ve had this side of the border. Fair prices too. Chips and salsa are also exceptional. (Super burrito is my go-to) One of my family’s favorite restaurants and we’re major foodies that have dined in probably 10+ countries, most states, etc. can’t say enough good things about these people and restaurant. (I don’t have personal ties to anyone here, I just love this restaurant that much) Please never change El Caporal.

I love the food here. I'm not much of a Mexican food loving person, but the food here is really tasty. My favorite dish is the ground beef nachos. Great service, and a family-friendly atmosphere.

Really good reasonably priced food, And, our server was a rockstar. Seated quickly on a Saturday night. Great margaritas. Very pleased.

If you want beans and rice on a hot plate with some great classics, go here. It’s the iconic Mexican food restaurant in Bend. For us it’s a ‘go to’ since it’s less than two miles away.

One of the greatest places to get an Hispanic meal done very well with a super friendly environment attentive servers and delicious drinks! When I worked at the hotel near this location I would constantly advise people to come EL corporal and every time they came back they were always happy. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I finally have taken the opportunity to eat there in their new location and I would say they are by far my favorite Mexican restaurant in Bend.Wonderful atmosphere wonderful tables wonderful seating the whole place is just absolutely wonderful. You will not regret coming to El Corporal.

Pretty yummy Mexican food. It was a little to expensive, the food could have been a little more flavorful, and the service level could be upped.

Recommend the chili relleno as well as the picadillo (shredded beef). Location will be improving once their new stand-alone building is completed.

My absolute favorite place in the world 😍 after 1,000 visits, it's still my go to restaurant. I love y'all! My 2nd family. ☺
