El Camaron Escondido

The service was horrible , first we ordered appetizers and they didn’t get served till like 30 minutes later with our entrees ! After we told them we didn’t want them anymore one of the other waiters said the waiter who had helped us didn’t know and he had just started working there three days before. She then took the food and left . The waiter who had begun to help us didn’t check on us to see if we needed anything until we were done eating. He then came by and asked us if everything was okay and we asked for a coke and he never brought it !!!!!! Worst part is that it wasn’t even busy !! They completely forgot about us , and then they took forever to bring us our check, and the food wasn’t all that either . Save ya money don’t go there 🤮

The food is tasty and the service is good. The staff were very attentive and friendly. In addition, there was a mariachi band singing throughout the time we were there.

Seafood and the scene here is super good. Service is always super even when they have a full house. The service was sociable and attentive. The bill was reasonable.

Always get their coctail de camaron to go and it never disappoints.

Let me start off by saying I never write a review Lol but I just had to this time. I have been coming to El Camaron for a few years now (Both Locations Escondido and Chula Vista). We always seem to frequent the Escondido location though because of the service we recieve there. We are usually always served by Abril or her twin sister. They both are always super friendly and very detailed when we ask a question on something on the menu. Abril remembered me after the first time she waited on our table and after then she remembered what my favorite drink and choice of beer was (BTW Recommend the Cheve Loka Double with Dos X Lol). Every time I come in with friends they love the service her and her sister provide and how attentive they are. Thank you Abril for the great service we appreciate.you! :)

Awesome spot, too bad it took a year before we tried this place! I'm always nervous about a local seafood spot, thinking they will overcook the food, but my shrimp we're perfect! Lots more to try from their extensive menu

The best Mexican style seafood in North County San Diego!

Delicious food , cool atmosphere feels like your eating in a restaurant in Mexico. The revocaldos shrimp and culichi dishes are amazing but the beans are probably the Best tasting anywhere in San Diego for sure !
