I used to live in the Mission so going to Farolito or La Cumbre were usual events. I love living in the Sunset but miss the delicious burritos from the other side of town. Thanks to Google Maps though I found this place and it is awesome and close to my house. A very full featured taqueria with delicious food. Their homemade corn chips are fresh and the best. You cannot go wrong ordering off the menu at El Burrito Express. There is not much of a place to sit and eat with only a small counter on offer. My recommendation is to phone in your order, swoop in on a bicycle and get take out so you can enjoy some fantastic taqueria cooking at your own place.

This place never misses, great selection of "especial" burritos that you just couldn't even come up with on your own. Excellent ingredients and large quantities. Never pass up a chance to try this place out, I've never known anyone to be disappointed, possibly overwhelmed by choices or the large-scale servings, but always happy to eat here.

Love the variety of burritos and creative ingredients. The ohana burrito is definitely my favorite. Not as good as mission style Mexican food, but definitely a nice local spot. Not a lot of sitting room, this would be a space if you're looking for takeout or a quick bite.

Speaking of the burritos, portions are relatively small but price is relatively low as well. So, on balance, not bad. Taste is pretty good as well too. The menu is written in a kind of confusing way though.

As solid as ever. Go for the bronco with grilled steak.

Food is really good. Better to get food to go rather than eat in or you'll end up smelling like your food. It's a really small place and the exhaust fans can only do so much.

Delicious and cheap.

Best in the neighborhood but not in the whole city.

Best burritos in the sunset. Been coming here for years!

Pretty expensive food for the amount you get, that's if you order the specials. Food takes a while to be served and even longer when there is a line. The place is a hole on the wall, expect to order take out. Not the cleanest place either. There's is a large selection of food, so if you like it, you won't be short on options. This place is fairly popular with the neighbors since it's the only Mexican joint within walking distance.

Great spot for some great quality food. It's reasonably priced and the atmosphere is that of a small taco shop. Staff was great had the food out quickly even though there was a decent amount of people. Not much seating however just a couple spots but there is a nice park and library close by.

The best burrito spot in the avenues

Expresso beef burrito quality dropped significantly. Way, way too salty even for my salty taste. No more guacamole or sour cream like the old days either.
