Edgar's Bakery

Another must-see if Birmingham. It’s a bakery that has some of the most delicious food. The staff were very helpful and polite. My wife and I were hungry when we stopped in, so we decided to get lunch. We couldn’t believe how great their sandwiches and sides were for a bakery. All of their baked goods were beautiful also. Just walking through and looking at what was in display was a lot of fun.

Last week I placed an order for cupcakes from Edger’s Bakery, my mother decided two days before the event that she would take care of the cupcakes’ herself. I went to cancel my order 28 hours before the pick up time and I was informed that my cupcakes were already made. When I brought the freshness into question, I was told that their cakes/cupcakes were good for 5 days. If I am paying over $70 for 25 cupcakes, I expect them to be made fresh, not made over a day in advance. I recommend shopping elsewhere to get a fresher product, and not one that has been on the shelf for a day and a half. If a product is good for 5 days, I want the 5 days, not 3 ½.

Very good food and service. The atmosphere was inviting and clean. The bathroom was spotless as well. Would recommend and planning on going back. I had the veggie omelet with egg whites and a side of fruit.

Love love love this bakery. Everything in this place is delicious!!! The strawberry cake, the lemon bars, and the brownies are my favorites. I'm going back today.

Edgars used to be the go to bakery but has steadily gone down hill. The cakes are now grocery store quality at bakery prices. An example is this red velvet cake I got today, the icing between layers is almost non existent.

Cookies are great but got home with parts of cookies broke off and missing. For the price of these cookies you would think the staff would be conscientious to making sure all product is whole and handled gently

Came here for our cake tasting for our wedding. Cindy is considerate and creative, lisening closely to what my wifes wants were and solution suggestion selling before product pushing. The staff are accomodating and the environment is kid friendly.

Great atmosphere and food. The desserts and espresso drinks are delicious. Good quality specialty foods and clean shop. The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is due to the lacking customer service. The staff was a little snobby and seemed agitated that I had a few questions . I tried to explain I was visiting from out of town but that didn’t seem to help. More friendly staff would make this place just about perfect!

Good coffee and cakes. We all like the cookies and the cheeseball. Good customer service.

The sights and smells of Edgar's are amazing. And the taste too! We love to meet people here.
