This is a very popular place in meadowdale area. If you want to have quick and full filling lunch, this the place to go. The o ly reason I have rated is 4 is ,they don't have veg soup and very limited vegetarian options. Food is tasty and served hot. Good and quick service. The meal options to choose have lot of variety as well for non vegetarian. My colleagues tell the dishes taste good too.

I used to really enjoy dining here. There wasn't a bad item on the menu. However, so much has changed over my last 4 visits, the quality of food has declined to the point where I won't return. It's a shame as i been going here since 2008 and has been my go to hakka spot. The service has also regressed as waiters don't check in on you and are often found socializing with one another. It gets really crowded and it doesn't help that it's not a very spacious spot to begin with. They try to squeeze as many tables in which makes it very uncomfortable. They stopped providing separate plates for appetizers so you're left with a messy plate for your mains (including finding a spot on your plate to keep your bones from the chicken wings). I still gave it 2 stars as the Crispy Sesame Beef remains the only good thing about this place.

The restaurant has good space and seating but the service is okay. I don’t think the menu was explained as well and I wasn’t so satisfied with the food I got. The red rice was the only good dish and you have to have something else with it to make it more savory. Noodles and chicken we got were bland. The mango shake also was okay. I went here based on reviews but I wouldn’t go out of my way for eddies. I got a chicken roll to start off with, and it was really fusion style.. was not expecting that. It wasn’t so good

Lovely place. Nice ambience, the food is awesome. The quantity for 1 plate is sufficient for 2. Good options for vegetarians. Service is very fast. The servers know what should we order and suit our taste if we take suggestions from them. Must visit place for Hakka Chinese. Even the meat available is Halal.

The food here is amazing and the service is great. Andrew is an amazing server and always a pleasure to see every time I visit. When the restuarant is busy, it gets a bit cramped, but that just shows how many people truly love the food. There's something for everyone at this restaurant.

I'd hate to give any business a One star but unfortunately, I experienced pretty poor customer service. Kitchen decided to shut down early even though they were still open for 2 more hours. I asked if they could put through an order and essentially was told no with no explanation. Then I was told it would take 45 mins to an hour for a take out order which was there way of telling me they weren't interested in my business. When I agreed to wait 45 mins for take out they decided they still didn't want to do the order. My best guess is that they didn't want to work or go home early. Not good. I wont be going back.

I've been regular at Eddie's Walk n Roll & their service and food is constantly being better. We were a group of 5 people, reached there just before the busy dinner time and got the seating immediately. We ordered House Special Hot n Sour (Large) Soup and Chicken Lollypops as appetizers and Chicken Manchurian, Spicy Mangolian Beef (Gravy, not sizzler) & House Special Manchurian Fried Rice as the main course items. The portions were quite adequate and the taste of each the items was unique and delicious. The service was prompt and servers were very attentive. What I also like about this restaurant is that they do not charge that 15% gratuity by default, rather customer have an option to whether or not tip the server and one can tip either by %age of the bill or by the amount of his/ her choice. All in all, its a nice HALAL Chinese Hakka joint, which I definitely would recommend and will re-visit happily again very soon.

All the dishes we had were delicious but we did find a hair in our fried rice! YUCK! Any restaurant experience is a combination of food, ambience and service and unfortunately only the food here was satisfactory. The service was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. servers were so blunt, don’t care about the customer, bring the food with no expressions and just leave it at the edge of the table. When we told the server about the hair in our rice, there was no apology and I had to ask to get new rice. It is clear they have not undergone any service training.

Food was really good, very near to Indo-Chinese taste. We tried chilly chicken, Manchurian. Service was a little slow but overall it was good.

Service is mixed. We got seated before another family and they got water first; still didn’t give us any water and we had keep asking for more. Appetizers were awesome. Our entrees kept on being passed to other tables (server probably got mixed up with table numbers). Lollipop chicken and dipping sauce is delicious. Fried cauliflower was tasty. Tandoori fried rice was good but heavy on salt. Lots of fish in the Manchurian dish (came with bowl of rice).

Well, this place was strange. It is sold as Hakka Chinese and Thai but in fact it seems to be Indian Chinese food. It is edible but the flavors do not match what is expected given the menu names and restaurant branding. The Thai dishes are completely wrong and the Hakka are just a strange flavor. I don't mind Indian Chinese food generally, but this is not what we expected.

An overhyped placed. Taste is no where Hakka Chinese or Indo-Chinese. They took us in after 25 mins of waiting. Their chicken fried rice is more like biryani without any Chinese sauces, chilly chicken was again without capsicum and bell peppers.

Like the ambiance i normally do take out. Overall it’s a great place their lunch special is great only for 10 dollars you get a lot of food and with a one dollar upgrade to fried rice that’s also very convenient. Over all it’s a good place to eat but soup can be better. Compared to rest of the Hakka resturants eddies def comes on top. I forgot to talk about staff I get that they are busy but customer service should definitely be kept in mind. They wouldn’t be where they are if customer didn’t go there. Staff and owners can definitely get better training on what customer service is all about
