East Side Mario's Etobicoke

3 STARS 🌟 🌟 🌟 GREAT BUT...---Nicely renovated location ~ everything looks modern and up to date. I would like to congratulate East Side Mario's for this long overdue renovation.Food was super great and tasty. I had tried the Scallops, the Lasagna and also Seafood Linguine. No complaints about the food other than the Scallops was a bit salty.My major complaint was nothing to do with the food or the staff, I was quite satisfied with the experience regarding this. However, the Washroom was my biggest concern. Very dirty with used paper over the floors, flies flying around (review photos for details). Newly renovated or not, establishments tend to forget the areas we don't see until we go there. I was disgusted to see the state of the facilities and so that is why the low rating.

Great meal, but extremely indifferent service. Waited a few minutes before being acknowledged and seated. No drink refills offered, and server failed to check in on our satisfaction with our meals. Waited 15 minutes after our meal for the server to bring our bill. Convenient location, next to Toronto Congress Centre. All you can eat salad and breadsticks!
