East Side Mario's

Amazing experience!! I have been regular at this restaurant for over 4 years and my expectations are met and surpassed every single visit. I visited East side Mario's last weekend over holidays and the restaurant was extremely busy, I sighed as I thought I would have to wait over an hour to get my food as the rush was unreal. Surprisingly enough, the staff was on their toes the entire time and provided an excellent service with smile. I definitely recommend this place!!

Just left the restaurant, we were greeted and seated very quickly. The restaurant filled up quickly, as it was supper rush. We expected slight delays due to this. Everything seemed to be an issue for our waitress, Dallas. She seemed inconvenienced by a few minor requests (extra dressing on salad, CAA discount request). My meal came out, completely wrong pasta. Manager was good, he offered to bring the right one out. I declined, ate my meal anyway. The food itself was tasty. I ordered build your own pasta, was brought out a signature dish in error. However the bill reflected the cost of the signature dish ($16.99 + $2.99 for baked cheese). My order should have been $15.99. Unfortunately I didn’t notice until we were back on the road. Pros: Location was clean, bathrooms in good condition, food tasty. Cons: Poor service, poor server attitude.

It could have just been the time of night we went as it was closer to 8pm but we did have some minor issues with this location. The restaurant itself was clean and the staff were friendly. However the soup we ordered wasn’t very hot. Also the unlimited salad (Caesar) was made with iceberg lettuce instead of romaine. We didn’t know about the recall on romaine at the time so, while I appreciate that they substituted, our server didn’t tell us about this change. We just thought it was normal and thought it was odd and honestly not as good. Service was a little slow even though there weren’t that many patrons in the building. The main courses were really good, no problem with the food there. It was the extras that’s we’d come to know of the East Side Mario’s brand that we had issues with. I hope it was just a fluke.
