East Harbor Seafood Palace

Had dim sum here for the first time on a Friday morning. The food standard was good and of higher quality compared to some restaurants I've had in Chinatown, therefore, it has a valid reason to charge a higher price. Liked that it's also very spacious. Super like that the servers were attentive and regularly change soiled plates. This rarely happen in busy dim sum restaurants in Chinatown.

This is one of the best dim sum spots in Brooklyn. Get there early to limit your wait time for a table. They have a pretty big dining room but it appears that Brooklynites get their dim sum on way earlier than Manhattanites. We had a party of 11 and showed up at 10am but still had to wait. I can guarantee that there wouldn't be a wait for dim sum in Manhattan if we showed up at 10am!I had a scare when I thought East Harbor Seafood Palace was closed permanently when I saw it marked that on another review site. Not sure why they were closed (renovations? Cleaning?) but I'm glad it was only temporary.

Great dimsum. It would help to speak Chinese. Good price for dimsum too. Fast and friendly service
